over the last couple of months.
Actually, the way I do it is by checking the boards, here to see if anyone is getting a new pincode. When info surfaces that a new code is around I call and voila it has worked two times in a row, now for us.
I made a decision yesterday to stay off site; so, I don't think Disney will get my resort business this year. I would have to get
free dining for 3 adults for me to reconsider going back on site. I don't think there will be fall or winter free dining this year.
The off site resort (a good Disney neighbor, they are called) has shuttle service to the parks; so, it may take a little longer to get there, but I won't have to pay for parking, either. We get a good, hot breakfast and we are staying in a suite that's 830 square feet with a full kitchen and a separate living room and two BRs and 2 bathrooms for less cost than a moderate. Three nights a week there's an evening reception that includes wine and beer and snacks.
We have a tough situation where we want to travel with our dog and I dread the idea of boarding her over night anywhere. At Disney resorts I would have to kennel her overnight to the tune of $50 to $75 a night at Best Friends; it's the only place I would consider. My dog is not stranger friendly; so, it would be very stressful for her to be in this enviroment. I would be okay with day boarding (I've done it before), but the over night at a kennel really worries me. I had a bad experience with my last dog that way. So, it's going to take a lot for me to stay on Disney proper in the future.
With the discounts that are out there right now I wouldn't stay Disney even if the dog wasn't a consideration. I almost did a trip with my mom and I and hubby would stay home with the dog; so, we could do it. He's not a big Disney fan. We've been over 30X and he's tired of it. He'll be staying in the resort room with our dog and he'll be happy to get extra sleep and watch sports and read while we go to Disney. So, the larger suite helps us a lot more than a Disney discount.
We could not afford a deluxe at Disney. I was lucky enough to do it a few times when I was younger and when the deals were great to do it. Those days are over.
Good luck to all who need a pin code, but I strongly suggest looking for other options to compare and see what you get for your hard earned money.
