How do get one? I hear a bunch of u talk about different codes but I m not sure how you get to aquire one. Let me in the secret! lol;)

I got one in the mail/postcard after we came back from WDW (20% off room). I also got one recently in an email that referenced the birthday I registered online thru Disney (40% off room during birthday time frame).

My theories: I think you have to have gone there and stayed w/ them, and sign up for things online, like the birthday deal. I'm also always signing up for contests, etc. thru Disney site. I wonder if they can somehow track that I spent $ in the parks and want me back...oh, and I also have requested the trip planning DVDs the last few years. They know I want to get there!!

Can't wait to see other responses!!

I always sign when planning vacation "what ifs" I like to plan see compare resorts and dream trips. Sometimes I even call in.Sign up for the DVDs, member of Movie Rewards, Movie Club, shop online. I registered our birthdays.

To be honest, Disney is offering a number of deals these days that equal the best of their PINs.

Last year we got a 40% off PIN. It was wonderful!!!!

This year we took advantage of the 4/3 deal. It worked out to be 43% off!! (How cool is THAT!!)

Free dining would have worked out to be within $9 of the 4/3 deal for our family-- it's an even higher percentage for those staying in Value or Mod's

There's also a 35% off Fall Special running:

The budget board is the place to post this. They can give you tons of info and such. I always am searching over there.
:yay:

I chatted with a WDW Cast Member this morning... she advised that as long as I was registered online then i am qualified to receive pin codes.

Here is the site she is referring to:

Hope you get a pin soon!
Good Luck! :flower3:

Actually I am going to tell you there is no"way" to guarantee them. you can increase your chances but,I have just booked my 22 and 23 trips to WDW staying onsite, and only ever received one in all that time.My neighbor who has gone once in her life gets them all the time, My SIL who goes all the time (2 trips per year)gets them all the time too.We are all registered on disney's website , yet I have gotten one and them multiple ones..

Thanx for all the input. I am registered online. I do join contests and such. I have booked 4 of my vacations online. I spend a ton when I m there and usually use Check card. I can only hope I guess! We r going back over dd bday. Her bday is registered. I could have used that 40 %. Lol

You couldn't have combined it with free dining though-- Disney won't allow you to stack discounts.

For my family of 5, Free dining and 40% off at the Poly are a VERY close thing.

Same here...I am at the BCv in a 1bdr villa with 40%.I just got the free dining pin.The 40% saved my family of 3 a little more.

We are registered on line, sign up for info and contests and never get any pin codes sent directly to us. My theory is the more you go the less likely you are to be offered any additional discount. The reason being they already know you are coming with or without a discount. They want to draw in those people who only come once in a while. This year alone will be 5 times in 12 months this October and we are considering adding a trip in August. Plus our February and April trips are already booked. I guess I have to stop going so often.

We live about an hour away and stay for a few days at least once or twice a year. We usually get whatever pin codes are being mentioned on the boards.

It does seem somewhat random...

We went on our first trip last November and I was hoping to receive a code too!!! AND we did...it knocked off $1100 off our total...not much...but I was super EXCITED!!! Now since we have been home I have received 3 so far. I unfortunately have to wait until 2010 to go again! UGH!!!! But the codes do keep coming...
