With the present economy, Disney seems to be almost desperate for my dollar. In the last year, I have received 4 PIN emails and 2 PIN post cards. Anyone else? Of course, none of them worked for my dates, so I used 4/3 deal and instead of paying little more than half price for POR, I just kept my budget the same and upgraded to GF.

and I'm super happy about it. :thumbsup2

I only received one e-mail pin code and one mailed pin code. I also thought about taking advantage of the 4/3 deal with giftcard and I did take advantage of the Free Dining in September.

Maybe, I should just move there and save myself thousands! :rotfl:

We recvd 3. Postcard in Oct for 20%, email in Dec for free dining and email in Jan for 40% which we used. I kept telling DH "they are begging us to come back" Finally we put them out of their misery and booked!!!

Did anyone else also keep their budget the same and just use the "discount" to be able to go up in resort category? I did that, but my boss kept what she had booked and just kept her discount. Although, she had booked a Pirate room and they weren't ready, so she got a free upgrade to the Poly anyway. Made me jealous as all heck! The Poly for a week for 4 for <$2500!!

Guys, I'm so jealous. I want to receive these pin codes. I just traveled to Disney in March 09 and I would like to make it a yearly thing. I am already dreaming of going back. I have gotton one e-mail from Disney abt a cruise line but never actual mail. I also have a disney Visa card, which is new also, got it in march too.

And one more thing....what is a "bounce back"?

Thanks to all

Rachael

A bounce back would have been an offer in your room to book your next trip before you checked out.

I am sooo jealous of your GF trip. I tried to get DH to pick there instead of Pop(think of what we would save!!) and I got the big fat no. However with 2 maybe 3 trips in the next 12 months I can't complain.

We already had a trip planned for Nov, at AKV, renting points from a DVC member (since then becoming members) so when we got 40% off Pin we thought we would take an extra trip, get AP's and stay at Pop. So we are taking 2 trips including tickets and dining for about $3600 total. Not too bad for 2 Disney vacations!!! Now I am working on DH for Spring Break 2010 to use AP's once more before they expire :yay:

I'm super bummed - I've tried everything known to humans to get a PIN code, but to no avail. I have called and called, and made sure my profile information was set to receive emails. Called on my wife, and made sure all her information was updated, and even checked on my mother-in-law (who always goes with us). No matter what I do, we never get a PIN code via mail or email.

I even went so far as to tell reservations that we would book today, on the spot, if we had a PIN code. Nope - no PIN :(

We really wanted to go to Disney, but opted for our first trip to Hawaii instead. We're staying at a vacation home in Ko Olina, so at least we will be able to see them building the new Disney Hawaii Resort!

we just returned from 6 days last Thursday and sitting in the mailbox was a kids stay, play, dine for free card, then today I open up my email and I get a pin code from disney cruise line for kids sailing free (I dont know if this is a general code or not), but I have NEVER gotten even close to a PIN or offer from Disney, we are hoping to go back in December, so I hope that they continue to roll in. My mother is one of those lucky people that will get a new offer almost everyday! :confused3

I rec'd a pin code (via email and snail mail) for a $500 gift card if I booked a 5-night stay. Called and was able to get a $300 gift card with a 3-night stay... and a one-day base ticket. Paid $448 for Pop Century, a one-day tix I can upgrade at another time, and $300 to spend on food while I'm there.

Not a bad deal!! Anyone else receive the same promo?

Just recieved a Kids eat free pin for $1260. I'm assuming it's for 2 adults and 2 kids at a value. If we could put all 3 kids on it then it would be a heck of a deal.

Not going until next year anyway.
