Pin Codes usage?

Does anyone know how many rooms can usually be booked with a pin code?

I have another question for pin code usage. I know you can use it for up to 3 rooms, but how do they manage if we will only be paying for our room while the other two will be paid by my father/mother-inlaw and brother-inlaw?

1. I assume I would need to make the initial deposits on all 3 rooms?
2. When I make the reservations I will make 1 for myself and then 1 for each of their names?
3. As for payment I guess they would call Disney and pay on it themselves? and have it paid off before 45 days before we leave?
4. Also we have a Disney Visa, should we just go ahead and put our trip all on it or pay on it in monthly increments and then once we are close put the rest of the balance on the Disney Visa to take advantage of the 6 months no interest?

This is our 1st time using a pin code and hoping they come out with FD but this will do if not.

Yes, you can book up to 3 rooms with a PIN code. All the rooms must overalp dates but don't need to be identical. There is a $200 deposit on each room due at booking. You will be asked for the names of each person staying in each room.

I would suggest you go ahead and put the payment for all rooms on your Disney VISA and have your family reimburse you. Not only will you get the 6 months no interest but the 1% rewards as well!

What are PIN codes and how do you use them?

A PIN code is sent to an individual either on a flyer or e-mail. They are linked to your name in Disney's computers so they are not transferable (if the code is in your name, you must be the one to check in). Most codes are for % off room rates (currently many people report codes for 35% off value/mod resorts and 40% off deluxe) but occasionally are for other deals.

How Disney decides who to send codes to is not really known but lots of people suggest you spend time logged into the Disney website pricing out trips, etc as well as signing up for communications.

Thanks for the help, but my bother-in-law have their own Disney Visa that they plan on using to pay for their vacation.

So your suggesting to pay it all off initially with the Disney Visa and then make payments on that? Or should we just pay as much as we can up front or until the 45 day period before we put everything on the card?
