Pin codes and calling

Quick question....I used to get pin codes all the time and haven't gotten one for at least two years now
I read on here people calling to see if they have one attached to their name....what do you say when you call? how far in advance of your trip do you normally call to see if you have one??

I would call if you are planning a trip this fall as there was the PIN that went out a week ago.Quite a few people have posted that they did not get the email but had a pin (or their spouse) when they called. I called and did not have one but my sister who is traveling with me did and we got it applied to both rooms. I pressed the option for promotions and asked if I might have a Pin attached to my name.

I would call 407-939-7675 and talk with someone there. I did get the last discount code, and when I called to book it they showed it attached to my name so I didn't even have to give it to them.

Go in and request a vacation planning DVD. If you dont have an account at www.waltdisneyworld.com, open one. These two things should help get you back into the system.

I just went in to the wdw site and tried to update my profile as it says there is no email communication listed?! when I tried to do it it keeps bouncing me out and getting me to sign back in and then it has none of my information listed there anymore?!?!

I think they reset the information a while back - if you haven't logged in a bit, that's why.

I also received a PIN over the phone, back in 2010. If you're planning a trip for the current PIN dates in the fall, it's definitely the time to call!

You are not the only one, but I know how you feel, I am dying for a pin too! There is a poll that shows about 75% of the people voting haven't received a code.

Thanks for the support! Where is the poll? I guess that if most didn't get a code, they aren't posting while they are mourning.

On the phone now and I have a free dining PIN. YIPPEE. I swore I'd never do the dining plan again, but since we want to stay at POFQ and room discounts are pretty much zippo there, we'll take free food

Nevermind. I don't know how to delete my post. There were no more rooms available at POFQ for free dining the first week of December (under the pin attached to my name) and I'm not willing to change resorts. Guess we will just OOP as planned

Nov 30 - Dec 6. She could have moved to me to POR with free dining, but I don't want to move. And the CM on the phone told me to be on the lookout for the general code for end of the year, she just didn't know when. So, I'm hoping the deal gets released to VISA holders first and I'll do that, or try the GP, but either way we're going. Flights are booked. I'm satisfied with my decision to finally stay at POFQ (I've booked there 3 times and then always change my mind) and I really do think eating OOP and sharing meals with DD will be just fine. The dining plan is always too much food for us!
