pin code vs discount promo code

OK I know this has probably been asked several hundred times but here it goes... If I call Disney and have a pin attached to my name and of course I apply it to my ressie. Can I then use a promo code when one comes out? Or is that like asking for a "double" discount? 97 days and counting. Hoping and sorta holding my breath for a great Jan code of any kind.

No one discount per reservation..

KAT is right, you can only use one discount per room. But if another discount comes out that is better than yours, you can switch to the new one PROVIDING that there are still discounted rooms available with the new discount. For instance, say I have a room with a discount booked, and a better discount comes out. If I call and ask for the better discount, they will check and see if they have any of the new discount rooms available. If they do, they will switch your reservation into that new discount room. If they don't have any of the new discount rooms left, they can't switch you into one of the new discount rooms, so you will have to keep your old reservation. The resort will have, for example, 100 discounts to give away; if they are all used up, they can't give one to you, even if you are already booked there. So you still have to keep your eyes on these boards and jump on discounts when you see them before they are all used up. I hope this didn't confuse you more!
