Hello from a very wet and windy England.

We have visited Florida 14 times, but have only stayed on-site once.
For our holiday next August we have followed some of the advice on here in the hope of getting a PIN code, and have also contacted Disney in the US by phone also. Mainly because we want to stay at a deluxe resort for a few nights, possibly the Grand Floridian.
We were told "check your emails", whatever that means. :)

However, do you have to be a US citizen to receive one? we are based obviously in the UK.

Thanks

Hi Johnny...Im originally from the Uk now living in the US. In answer to your question, no you dont have to be an american citizen to get a pin. As long as they have your email address anyone can get one. Having said that these Pin codes are like gold dust..they are very rare. We have been going to Disney onsite ( 2 times a year) for years..(approx 15), registered for everything Disney and still to date have never recieved a Pin code. Apparently there is no ryhme or reason to who gets one and who dosnt. When you call Disney they have no idea either as I believe they are selected randomly by a computer and as they say ...its just yer luck. I agree it does suck though when you see people getting them and you dont...I know exactly how you feel. The only thing you can do is to keep checking Mousesaver.com and keep calling Disney, they normally have some kind of discount going on but dont release it to the last minute. Remember if a better offer comes out after you book, you can call them and change it if they have availability. Good luck from a fellow Pin hunter.

I have been going online to price vacations almost Weekly for the past year and no pin code :sad2: Until I re-registered with a different email address. I saved a few vacation quotes and then what do ya know? I got a pin code :cool1: It came about a week later in an email (to the new email address). It was on a pretty long email and it was at the bottom in small print.

So try logging onto Disney "My Reservations" with a new email address and save some quotes!! Good Luck!!

A *lot* of people have been successful with this method. It is definitely worth a try :thumbsup2 I got my pin after I booked a room only reservation online. It arrived about a week later.

I just wanted to remind everyone to be sure and call to see if there might be a pin code attached to yor name...We are going in May and we called to check and see if anyone in our family traveling with us might have one and we were so happy to find out my sister in law did have a 40% off room pin code attached to her name! She has been to Disney once and we have been twice..So it never hurts to call and check!
