pin code question

just wondering do most pin codes involve booking a trip that would be coming up very soon? I book my trips a year and a half in advance and Im just wondering when pin codes would be sent out. For example my next trip is booked for dec 8-15th 2010, if I was going to get a pin code how far in advance of a trip does disney send out the codes? I hope I make sense!

Right now there is a code that has select dates that run until 6/12/2010 (I got it on 10/19/2009). So maybe after the first of next year you will see something come out for the full year, or that might stretch later. If nothing else, usually early summer-ish they announce offers for the late fall, and maybe something will come out for your travel time that you can have applied to your reservation.

I'm really hoping so! Last November, I got a code for dates all the way until Dec 09, so I have my fingers crossed I'll see something like that again this November. I'm not holding my breath, though!
