Pin code nonsense continues

I had been getting pin codes for the last year and after I had rec'd the last one I called to book. I gave them the code and they told me it was for last name of Dixon that live in Illinois. I emailed Disney and they said they would correct their records and send to the right email. Today I got another pin code and this one says Hello Dixon Family! Those poor people might need a pin and don't know that it is being sent to some strange family that lives in Texas.

Hopefully folks with more recent experience will weigh in on this, but I think you could do this: If it's a pin code you really want to use, and the name matches, and they give you the address that matches the emailed pin code, go ahead and use their address!

Assuming that you have enough time in between making your reservation and receiving your magic bands to call them and change your address in the system - it may not work for a last minute kind of trip. Everything is done online as far a payment is concerned, and the magic bands aren't mailed right away..... so it makes sense to me that people could actually MOVE in between making Disney ressies and their trip to Disney..... so what would be the harm in making the ressie under their address and then, a few weeks later, changing it to your correct address? Since making my reservation, they have mailed me promotional stuff, but nothing I would really miss if it went to the wrong address.

Just a thought.... but I hear your frustration!

Mine are always messed up to. They send them to my address, but in my sister's last name, and with my zip code. I called and they supposedly fixed it, now I'm getting my nephew's Disney mail at my house.

I've only gotten one single pin code in all the years I've been going to Disney. That was a post card in the mail and the offer was no better than what was online to the general public.
