Pin Code Free Dining LOTS More Dates

I just booked using this code for POP. Got 10 days 12/14-12/24 with 6 days of base tix and free dining for $1780. The 4n/5d would have been $1214 with five day base tix. We are two adults and two kids. I'm not sure I'm even gonna be able to go. Dh and I are talking it over tomorrow night. We really wanna go in January though so we'll probably end up canceling. When I booked, she did not have any problems finding us a room, btw.

lol maybe we should protest and send a petition to DW. lol NOt our fault we can't change our dates to not pair up with those dates of Pop Warner. BOO! I can't find any discounts to apply for our dates and for CSR. Ah well... what can ya really do eh?
Every pop up email notification through MSN I gasp. Then realise it is for DIS and not DW sending me a magical PIN code for 2nd week of Dec free dining. We all know what I will be dreaming of tonight! Free dining! Aaahhhhhh

Hi, me again. I tried calling to get my bounce back changed to a free dining, but my dates are two weeks prior to the free dining so I was told no. Oh well, I'm still staying at a moderate for about $100/night.

As far as how I got the e-mail code, I seem to get them with some frequency. We visit WDW once or twice a year and always stay on property, I order the free vacation DVD every year, and I say yes to Disney e-mails at every opportunity. You never know when you'll get lucky. Good luck everyone!

but I can't use mine either. We have been to WDW 20 times at least, over the past 10 years. The only different thing in my Disney profile would be that I cancelled a Poly concierge trip this past August. We took the whole family to Hawaii and stayed at the Ritz for less than what the non-discount room would have been in Florida. We thought that the "theming, water park atmosphere, transportation to the "park"(gorgeous Hawaiian beach) and on-site amenities" were a bit better than WDW(LOL). What a bonus that we didn't need to spend extra on park tickets because the "park" was free. I don't mean to sound so sour, but it really got to me when I added up the cost for the August trip to WDW to stay in the Hawaii BUILDING. What I traveled to instead was a true luxury hotel with 5 substantial meals and snacks a day in concierge, breathtaking pools and oceanfront scenery. It cost less than the trip to WDW would have, with the high air tix and the package. We go to Hawaii every 2 or 3 years and this year spending the money there felt better than spending more at a themepark. Threehearts

Just booked Dec. 15-16 at POP through AAA for $65/ nt. as an early arrival to my pre-existing res. for the VWL Dec. 17- 22. Even the travel agent at AAA had received a free dining code for Dec. via her personal email...UGGG!!!! I am soooo hoping to receive that code- what a savings. I can't complain though- I am pretty pumped with POP for $65/ nt.
Come on Disney... YOU'VE GOT WISHES TO GRANT!

To answer your question, a person that gets a pin code is the one that has to make the reservation and has to be present at check in.

Are you referring to booking with a pin code? If so, then no your mom would not be able to book your trip using a pin code in her name unless she was coming with you.

If you are booking a regular package reservation, then she should be able to book the trip for you and pay with her Visa - just make sure YOUR name is the lead name on the reservation, not hers. You can do this online also.

OK, so my friend calls, she is going end of Oct, first week of Nov. She got the pin code email, but dates are only Sept. 27-Oct. 11th. Then another friend tells me tonight, she also go it, same dates....or at least I think, as she said I would have to go in the next couple weeks. THEN, I just got home and I HAVE ONE! My first one! We are going too. My dates are the ones that spread to December 20th.

Do you know if my friends dates are going to extend out that long as well/?

My email with pin code listed September 28-October 11, but I assumed that was just the dates the "$63 per night per person" was valid. When I tried to book something for November with the pin, the agent said I could only book dates between Sept. 28-Oct. 11, which won't work for me as I have a teenage son in the school marching band. She also stated I have a 3-letter code attached to my pin, and asked if maybe the 3-letter code in my eail was different. My email only contained the pin, no 3-letter code. I am reading that others have only the Sept.-Oct. dates listed in their emails as well...has anyone had success booking beyond Oct. 11?

Me too. In fact, I decided to cancel 3 of the ADR's we had booked for TS meals. I've decided Disney is getting enough of my money and I feel a little miffed that I can't get these codes they keep giving out to some and not others.

Between loading up on groceries through Garden Grocer of Wegoshop, and sticking to sharing meals at CS, I can save a LOT of money that I had originally budgeted for Disney.

(But I'm not dumb enough to cancel those ressies yet, just in case they end up offering a free dining promo to the general public for November. A girl can dream, right?)

Won't help for this one, but we have gotten the last three pin codes and my DH is convinced it is because he ordered the DVD. He just periodically orders the updated ones.

argh!! just got this pin email this morning but i'm already booked at poly w/ a group rate. oh well, they probably wouldn't have rooms available at the poly w/ this rate. also i think my group discount is about the same as the free dining if they make you book at rack rate. 2nd pin offer i haven't been able to use!!!

I did some quick math and I figured out that we are better off with the 40% off code because we are staying for 9 nights and there is 6 of us and we have to buy a one day ticket when we already have 10 day tickets bought and paid for. It would be nice to have the free dining but according to my calculations we would owe $475 more on the ressie. I have 2 adults and 2 children over 10 and 2 under 10... am I missing something or is my math right? We are staying at the FW cabins and have our room for $153 a night from $255.

NOW, if you look up that same exact package...without the Dining, it is $1800something, over $300 more! SO, not only is it Free Dining, it is also a room discount as well. I priced 6 different things and the same held true for each one!!!

In the past, the Magic Your Way package,with park passes was always the same price as the Free Dining package.

I also got a pin for free dining. It is worded kind of funny. It says you have to book by Oct 11. It looks like the $63 per person per day is offered Sept. - Oct 11.

I guess I should just call and ask. I just wish we could use it for our trip in February!
