pin code and best time to go

wooowhooo!!

Thanks to this board last night I saw some of you received a free dining pin code. I quickly logged onto my mail and with hands shaking I looked and there was a dining pin code hidden amongst all my junk emails. I would have never seen it if it weren't for this board, so thank yoU!

We were thinking of going the first week of May. Since I know all of you are experts on the best time to go with rates and also crowds, does that sound like a good week?

Is there anything big going on the first week of May that we should avoid that I dont know about like tour groups, spring breakers, etc that I'm not thinking of??

I want to book ASAP but thought I'd run it by you experts here first to see if that week is good as far as low crowds etc.

First off, congrats on your pin code!!! I know in the past we have gone during the month of May and it has been so enjoyable! Almost all of the Florida schools are in session until mid-June (at least that is how it used to be) so the parks weren't very crowded at all!

Would you mind posting the dates that the Pin offer includes? I've looked in my emails and I don't see it, but for some reason we're relatively lucky and tend to get a large number of Pin offers...not that we get to use them everytime of course, although I wish! If our dates fall into the offer I'll call and see if we do have a Pin on one of our names, but I don't want to waste their time if our dates aren't even included.

I love going in May and as you can see by my past trips it is when we usually go, but last year was REALLY busy. We went April 30th -7th and was really surprised because before it was never packed. This year we are going for 1 day before we head to Marco Isalnd so we can only go May 6th and that is 1 of the 2 grad nights. So both Friday and Sat. the MK closes at 7 for everyone. kinda of sucks since that is the only day we can go , but what can you do. the Flower and Garden Festival is going on in Epcot as well. Maybe someone who has gone at different times in May can help as well.

Hi, The dates are 4/23-8/13 in the email.

What is grad night? Does that mean the park is MK is closing earlier than usual those nights or that week?

Also does the garden thing at Epcot make the crowds bigger?

Grad nights just affects the MK Friday the 6th and Sat the 7th and yes they shut down for everyone(besides the grads) at 7. If you have a hopper no biggie you just go to another park at some point in the day. Flower and Garden Festival really doesn't afect the crowds too much. Maybe a little more people who live locally go on the weekends.

Oh my goshhhh!! I just booked our vacation! I really can't believe it. Yesterday at this time I had no clue we were going.

I have been trying to talk my husband into it forever. Then we get the email with the dining pin late last night. I showed him, he thought it over and said OK. Next thing you know we booked, and I am still in shock. We are going in 2 months! WOW!! someone pinch me please!

Is there a menu list anywhere so I can get an idea of what types of food you can get on the Quick service dining plan?
