Okay, I'm new to all this, but it seems that the "black mickey head" pin backs are not very sturdy and you could lose pins easily?
I have heard others talk about the metal locking backs that are better for holding the pins. Where do you find these?
Also, when trading do you trade with the metal backs or use the mickey head ones?
Just want to avoid loosing pins if possible.
We are going for our first trip in 18 days :cool1:
Thanks for any tips you may have!!

ugh, yeah the backs they come with are not very good
ive lost multiple pins because of them :sad2:

you can get the locking ones at any of the pin trading stores in the parks.

when i trade i trade the regular backs.
some people dont have the metal locking pins and the stuff to use them, so just to make it easier on everyone i trade the regular ones :goodvibes

Thank you for your reply! I am wondering if you can buy these in bulk somewhere? Maybe I'll check out e-bay. If you have any suggestions I would love to know :goodvibes
We leave in 10 days so I am a bit short on time if I have to order something.

You can get them down there or at some Motorcycle shops as well ( Bikers use them for their pins on their vest and jackets.

Get a few extra allenkeys as well .

DD uses a Pin bag now .She has a small one for a quick day trading and a larger one for extended trading.

hmm
i havent seen them in bulk only packs of 9 or something
...but im sure there is somewhere

have fun on your trip :sunny:

Thanks for all the great tips everyone!
(especially the motorcycle shop one....who knew!) :thumbsup2
Our local motorcycle shops didn't actually have any, but everyone there knew what I was talking about...
I ended up ordering some off of ebay in the motors section. They do not require an allen key? They got great reviews. I'll let you know how they are after we get them :goodvibes

Take Care!
We leave on Friday :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
