Pin and Lanyard

My family is staying at GCH and with our package we received the vouchers - one being for the lanyard and pin. I was wondering if there is only one specific pin/lanyard that they give you or if there is some choice?

We got one when we went in 2011. There were a couple of places you could turn the voucher in at. I believe it there was no choice or if there was a choice it was only a couple.

Assuming it is a costco package:

We got ours in June and you get a sweeeeeet rolleyes2) all white lanyard with giant "Costco Travel" logos all over it. We were not offered a choice. But the Cars Land pin they gave us is pretty nice.

We immediately bought a different lanyard.

You get a different lanyard depending on who you booked with, i.e. Disney Travel directly, CostCo, AAA, GetAwayToday, and it's usually prominently branded with that travel agency name/logo. The pin is also pre-selected, but those are often kind of neat; I like to look for them on trading lanyards. Lately, they have been Cars-themed.

From what I've seen, the list below shows the pins you would receive depending on who you booked with. (These Pins are ranked in order of commonality)

Disney Travel Company = Carsland Pin, Lightning McQueen
AAA = Carsland Pin, Tow Mater
Costco = Carsland Pin, Fillmore
Disney-Chase Visa = Carsland Pin, Luigi and Guido

we booked with the disney travel company and we got a blue lanyard and a lightning mcqueen pin and we had no choice we had 8 in our party and we all go the same. My dd grabbed the first one the lady put down to look at the pin and she said to her they were all going to be the same. hth

Definitely based on who you booked with.

but in '07 we were allowed to trade our pin with the CM. Not sure if you still can. DS and I chose to keep our Costco Travel pins (not that they are Costco Travel themed, but they were the ones that came with the package), and DH chose to trade his.

By the next day we ALL had bought new lanyards as our included lanyards were huge and scratchy.

Really not trying to be greedy, just curious. . .

1. I booked my upcoming package trip with Disney Travel (includes a pin and lanyard)
2. Have paid deposit, and will pay final with Disney Visa (includes a pin and lanyard)

Will I end up with two sets of pins and lanyards?

That's what I was wondering (I booked with Disney Travel)... my husband and son don't care about the pins but my daughter really does - I was hoping there would be a couple different options so that we could give the to her for a little variety (this will be her first pin trading trip). Oh well!

all three of us got the Disney Travel blue lanyard and the same Lightening McQueen pin. We only kept one of the pins and traded the other two.
