pin after buying event ticket?

I usually use a TA for my vacation reservations, but today I bought my own tickets for MVMCP by calling Disney directly. Has anyone ever gotten a pin after buying any party tickets? Still hoping for FD....

You can get a PIN even if you book thru a TA. While most seem to get them from being registered on the Disney website, some have never registered and get them in the mail. I have several clients that get them both ways.

I have gotten pins before, but I haven gotten one in awhile and I was just hoping that I may have had some more luck by calling in and purchasing the MVMCP tickets. Wishful thinking is all! Just wondering if anyone noticed that they received a pin after buying the tickets.
