Pimp my Stroller

I've read in a couple spots that it's a good idea to pimp out your stroller a bit to make finding it easier after having left it parked. Does everyone agree with that? We will have our own stroller, not the generic Disney ones, if that makes any difference. If pimping it out a bit is the way to go...what have others tried? What works well?

I do recommend it just because those crazy stroller people have the audacity to make more than one stroller that looks alike.;)

Last time, we had a stroller with a hand rest that was pealing up, so we didn't do anything special - we figured that was identifiable enough. I'd recommend just tying a ribbon or something around one of the handles. It just helps you know for sure which stroller is yours and helps people who might have the same stroller know that that specific one isn't there's. This is especially helpful if the cast members end up having to rearrange strollers after you have parked yours.

Stroller license plate. Something with your name on it. Bright colored ribbon around the handle.

I would at least put your name on it. I have read reports of strollers looking a like and people mixing them up.

We just tied a simple hot pink ribbon around the handled. Worked fine. Helped when we returned from a ride and the stroller-tidy-upper cast members moved it!

We put an empty sports bottle in the cup holder to help identify ours.

Did I hear somebody say PIMP?

Well now, put some bling on that puppy and strut it around the park like Stacey in heels!

Make sure you get some neon pinwheels, too, with glitter and long sticks so they stick up way high in the air and peoples can see you coming!

And rims - don't forget the rims. Big chrome ones with those dagger things sticking out of the center in case somebody gets too close......

And tunes. Gotta have you some tunes so you can crank 'em up when everybody around you needs some cheerin' up !!!!

We always got two balloons and tied them to the stroller. Made it so easy to find! When we were walking I had them hooked under the handle so they didn't bother anyone else or the view.

Since our stroller is just plain black, I bought a bright blue seat cover/protector, which also helped in the seat not being as hot after sitting in the sun. I also found some neon green smiley face luggage tags, and put one of those on there.

I put a bright yellow poncho over it. It stayed dry, kept our snacks dry, and was really easy to find.

I went to the craft section at Walmart and in the remnants pile was a fuzzy, hot pink piece of fabric - the stroller was super easy to find ;)

We have gone during holidays and attached battery operated lights to the stroller, nothing easier to find at night after getting off a ride than a stroller that looks like it belongs in Spectromagic. We also tie a bright bandana around it for the daytime.

I brought a stroller this latest visit. I had no intentions of bringing it back home so I hoped someone would take it. In the end I folded it and placed in next to a garbage can on Main Street. Park was basically closed and guy said to do so if I wanted.

That is genius. Is this yours or a random park goer? If you did this, I tip my Yoda ears to you. Fantastic.

My son added a head light under the front part that lighted the ground immediately in front of the stroller. There was a switch on the handle and LED that made it very easy to identify.:thumbsup2
