Has anyone any experience of this company? Or booked with them?
They are advertising on Teletext and have a website www.pillingerworldtravel.co.uk

I have used this company and so have lots of my friends and family. Gavin there is fantastic, he has sorted villas for us in the past and we have booked flights and car hire for our trip in Jan 09. Gavin has a vast knowledge of Orlando and will work with you to get the holiday you want. They are very competitive for flights and car hire too

Fantastic! It's reassuring to hear of someone who has used them, Gavin has given DH some great ideas and prices so we will probably be booking it with him in the next couple of days !

I am looking at tickets and found Pillinger the cheapest has anyone bought tickets from them recently I like the idea of phonimg and speaking to someone but am worried about using a small company, if I order and pay do the tickets /vouchers come immediatly or do they take a while?

just phoned and spoke to a lovely lady named Kate, who said that they issue vouchers and they take a few days to arrive.

Looks like we will be booking through them as they are even cheaper than Virgin (although by the sounds of it the vouchers come from Virgin anyway)

The company I used this year also purchases vouchers from virgin. I booked and paid in full and I was told that the tickets would be with me in 2-3 weeks. Anyway I still haven't got my tickets and I paid for them in November. The company were under the impression from virgin that the tickets got sent out as soon as full payment was made but this is not the case and we will not be getting them until a few weeks before we fly. so I would do a double check.
I did get reassurance though that as it is a travel company they are fully bonded and protected so even if they go bust I will still get my tickets.

Thanks for the heads up we have been in contact with them and have been very impressed so far, called when they said they would , lot's of ideas and nothing was to much trouble.
Looks like we will be using them.

They take a while! I have now been home from Florida for two weeks and I am still waiting on my refund as my tickets didn't arrive!

Buy with caution!

That's a shame, I don't think that anyone else has had any problems.

1 or 2 have had problems on Dibb http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=292990&highlight=pillinger
They are a sponsor of their site, not good when sponsers can't get it right, at least they do reply on the forums and don't just ignore the problem.
Hopefully it was a blip with their supply.
