The Old Mill is a wonderful place to eat... It isn't cheap, but the food is wonderful...I would also suggest checking out the wax museum, it was my favorite thing I did down there this year... We go every year and I love vacationing there. Also, check out the sky lift it is very fun.

Dollywood sucked (IMO) it's hard to figure out where you're going (even with their maps) and it just isn't Disney.... No magic

We like Dollywood ok, you just have to know NOTHING will ever be like Disney!
If you go in expecting it to be like WDW, you will be disappointed for sure!

The only part of this I agree with is your point about maps...their maps are terrible. As far as "magic" Dollywood was genuine...natural mountains, trees, etc. with an amusement park nestled in the meandering valley. Very beautiful. IMO Dollywood offers some things that are impossible to experience at Disney. I appreciate both places.
