Sit in traffic!

Anytime I have been to PF the traffic is always awful--stop and go for miles. But there is a ton to do there and in Gaitlanburg.

Of course there is Dollywood, and there is a great Aquarium, tons of tourist places with go carts and bungee jumping, shows etc... I am sure there are websites that can let you know all your options.

We visited Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg in June. Loved it! We had tons of fun. For us during the second week of June, we had no problems with traffic. BEST two shows(especially if you have kids; grown-ups like it too) MAGIC BEYOND BELIEF and COMEDY BARN. We stayed at the Music Road Hotel.

We go about 4 times a year, for the past 7 years, and this past May we found out a secret to us. Ask the locals where different shops are. There are a lot of shops off the main strip that are SO nice. They are quaint and aren't commercially over-run. It made the trip SO much different.
