Piercings/Tattoos

:rotfl2:

No excuse now, Kelly.

That's very generous of you!

It is! Aint it?
Thats what I am all about. Whenever there is one of those Painted Wicked City woman, that Mama warned me about, in the need of having pics taken of her tats & Peircings.....IM YOUR GUY!:wizard:

I have a camera & everything!:thumbsup2

You could have a jello match with her in August & we'd find out for sure! :thumbsup2 !
LIMEGREEN Jello Shots!:woohoo:

I was in the never going to happen group when it came to tattoo's.:snooty:

My parents both have one each and my three sisters all have one.
I went out with my sisters one night and they talked me into considering one. I went into the parlor and decided to go for it.
I got one on the inside of my right ankle. It is two blue hearts with my two boys' names. One above the hearts, one below. I like where it is because it is not noticable if I am in a dress, etc.

We thought we were done having children so, one tattoo was it for me. Well, then we were surprised to find out we were having another baby. Once my daughter was born I had to have her added of course.
I got my second tattoo on the inside of my left ankle. It is a pink heart with my daughter's name.

I don't think people think differently of me when they find out I have them. I think they are just surprised. ;)

First of all I want to say how floored I am that you have a thread that has gone 7 pages and not been locked. :teeth:

Any moms have a tattoo on their hip before they got pregnant?
I'm considering my 2nd, and it needs to be hidden, hence the location. But I'm worried it will stretch out and get gross when I decide to have kids later..
any experience?
I have a rose on my hip I got before kids I was a size 0 at the time. I am now a size 6 and it has not changed. Now I was HUGE during my pregnancys and it was fine. But thats just me.
sure...for the kids;) That's why I did mine too:rotfl2:
:sad2: I thought it was for me.. :confused3
Oh I would so love to be there when they do find out. :lmao:
August is only a few months away.. :teeth:
I now think you can beat me up!
;)
PICS PLEASE

I'll forward them to you as soon as I get them.. ::yes::

Piercings do catch my eyes as do tattoos.. I guess growing up where this is normal its so hard for me to say that I can judge someone by how they look. Now how someone dresses that is my downfall.. :rolleyes1

My DH hates them because he works in a prison and knows all the meanings behind the different facial and biker ones.....not a good connection there.:sad1:

I'm more a fan of things you can change your mind on and still have fun - like the mohawk I used to have in Howdy Dowdy orange!:thumbsup2
Boy, we are more twinsy than ever. I come from a cop family, and my brother has always made comments about tattoos and what they signify, etc.
I went for the spiked hair/rat tail when I was younger, and did the pink hair thing after the red hair thing (it was a natural progression).
Now that my nieces and both my kids have tats, they've become more acceptable to me. And one of my last memories of my dad was kissing his sailor tattoo goodbye. It held so many memories for me as a kid.:sad1:
Sometimes I have a hard time with eyebrow or lip piercings. My eyesight isn't what it used to be, and a lot of times it looks like stitches to me. I know I shouldn't stare, but sometimes I'm just trying to figure out what I'm looking at.

Thanks. You saved me having to look it up. I didn't have the nerve to ask.

:scared:

I can't open it at home, will have to look at work. Hopefully its work appropriate.

Make sure you wear the sparklers. I'm sure they'll go great with your new do! :cutie:

Idon't get it either. All they do is draw more attention to it. :confused3

I'm not brave enough to go into one of them places.

That's very generous of you!

8 pages and almost 24 hours!!:snooty:

OK....DU....I've thought about it..... get out the camera...I'm headed your way!!!! :teeth:

I got my first tattoo in 1979 so it was pretty uncommon for a girl at the time and a few people made comments. Since then it's become pretty mainstream. I don't know anyone who would raise an eyebrow about it now, since so many people have tattoos or know someone who has a tattoo.

Well I went to them all the time in college.

And um in case you were wondering..I am guy..lol :)
Whew, that's good to know. I was hoping you didn't think I was a snob cuz I wouldn't go in there! :lmao:
