has anyone ever paid to take the pictures at the resorts with a photographer
i was wondering if they are worth the money

I have read a few posts on here about people paying for them and from what I have seen they seem to be worth it. We are getting them in July when we go.

We did it a few years back, so I'm not sure the packages are exactly the same. But we did the 1-hour photoshoot with the Disney photographers at the Beach Club resort. We had a great photographer+assistant who got us talking and laughing and got the kids playing and really got some lovely shots of us all.

Our biggest tip would be to try to schedule it either early in the morning, or later in the day, maybe an hour or two before sunset. The light is perfect for photos in that "golden hour" and that really showed in our photos. No harsh shadows/sunlight, just a golden glow.
