I really need to find my old pictures but I think most of my stuff has been covered already. However, I found this picture online - I always preferred these Mickey ice cream bars over the ones they have now. With the whole thing dipped in chocolate, it makes it so much harder to eat! LOL

Though they are a little creepier-looking...lol.
Main Street Electrical Parade isn't new; it pre-dated SpectroMagic. They brought it back.
Nope, not gone.
Wasn't it only visible (the whole thing) from the Backlot Tour that's gone?
I have that tucked away somewhere as well. It's in a folder with all my other stuff from that trip.Free gift for everyone during 25th anniversary year(I remember a lot of these thrown in the trash by people who didn't want them!) I still have mine framedView attachment 83582
They roamed around the Lake Buena Vista Village as well. I remember being confronted by them every now and again while we played outside of our Treehouse Villa.
We ate there when it was the character breakfast. This was right before the grand opening in April 1998. They were having previews for guests staying on property only, so it was very empty. We ate with about 6 other families so character interactions were wonderful! I don't remember much about the food, but 2 interactions make it a vivid memory:
1: I had a denim jacket. On a previous visit, we had bought character patches. Mom sewed on the back Donald, Mickey, and Minnie. Well Goofy came up from behind me and gave a motion of, "what about me?". I turned around and said that we had placed him closest to my heart (front left pocket). What hugs I got then!
2: Same meal, but getting ready to leave. Mom was taking her meds. She dropped a vitamin capsule on the floor, so I got down to look for it. Our fear was a child finding it and either choking (it was huge!) or getting sick and scaring their parents. You never forget crawling on the floor with Mickey Mouse looking for a capsule. After 10 minutes, the manager told us not to worry and Mickey mimed that he would keep looking for it.
It was 12 years before we got back, but by then, the meal was over at Tusker. And Mom was gone. But, oh, what wonderful memories of a sneak preview! Thanks for reminding me.

Yes! That used to be our favorite. Always used to do this before rope drop so we could beat the crowds into the park. Our fondest memories are of rushing through the deserted park in the early morning to get there and we always found the characters to best the most interactive there. I will have to dog out some pictures.
