This also shows the required capacity. When there was space between you and the next Dumbo, you felt more like you were flying. Now, when you are in the air, you are looking directly at the next elephant rump.
I recently rode Dumbo after a break of about 25 years. I wondered why it seemed different. Luckily the person directly in front of me was flying lower so I didn't have Dumbo's *** right in my face!
Re. Spectromagic... if a you saw MK night time parade in 2013, I'm pretty certain it was MSEP. I think the Spectro floats were decommissioned far before that, and then unfortunately destroyed due to improper storage/maintenance from what I remember reading.
No. The whole "poacher" theme has been eliminated. Now, it is more of just a "guided tour" without a fictional sub-plot. From Wikipedia (So you know it is true...)
"On February 10, 2012 it was announced that the "Little Red" portion of the ride would be replaced with a zebra exhibit. It opened in the fall of 2012."
Not at all in the last four years we've done it. I could be wrong, but I think I read that sometimes it works, sometimes not, but it's been scaled way back from what it was?

Dumbo, Thumper, Flower, Gus, Jaq and the Song of the South characters were very present at the MK throughout the '70s. And am I the only one who misses Winnie the Pooh with the honey pot on his head? I thought he was cuter than the modern costume.

not to get too far off track on this great thread, but you can tell how the bridge will behave by the small "traffic light" that you pass on the right of the truck just before you come to the bridge. From what I have surmised, whether its blinking or solid tells the driver whether or not the bridge will rock or just creak. (Unfortunately, I can't recall at the moment whether blinking means rocking or not rocking.)
This is my favorite ever. I only made it to pg 6, but I'm excited to come back and see more. Then I have to see if I have anything that hasn't been added yet. I do have some good shots of the cake castle
