Does anyone have pictures of the balance slip they apparantly put under your door on the last night?
Is this given per stateroom or per person(account)?

Do they include onboard credit or cash added to the account or just how much is spent?

We would like to surprise one of our friends in our stateroom with onboard credit/cash added without them knowing.
Will it show up or not?

I'll have to look and see if I have one. But, it's a room account, but broken out by KTTW card. Shows all charges, as well as credits applied to the account.

It will show credits and they can check anytime. I usually do a cash account ao i check every day or other day. So if you don't want them to see until the very end, maybe go first thing in the morning of debarkation.

Only if it runs longer than the 8"x10" paper it's printed on. For example, we have 5 people in our stateroom, so each person has their charges listed separately.as line items. But they're all listed running underneath each other, not on a separate page for each person, is that what you mean?

I wonder if they print individual balances separately if they're using different forms of payment? Most of us are families in one stateroom with a single form of payment, but if you have adults with their own credit cards linked to their KTTW cards in one room, for example, maybe they print out individual people's statements so you can't see the others' info?

Each form of payment will get its own statement. I typically share a stateroom with my mom and we have our own credit cards attached to our KTTW cards. We get separate statements every time. All charges and credits show up on the statements.

We didn't receive one in our state room in June. I had to go have one printed at guest services. All charges were broken out per person (tips, drinks, merchandise, excursions). I had applied some gift cards prior to our cruise, but I can't recall how it showed up on the statement.

Whenever I've received money on my shipboard account BEFORE the cruise I've received little cards for each on the desk with my dinner ticket, excursion tickets, etc. So 1 will say from the cruise line (for OBB credit) and another will say from my TA (their thank you credit). Each has the amount & who it's from. Maybe if you place money on someone's cruise account before their cruise they'll receive this card as well. Alternately, you could mail the person a card with "Do not open until...." and put the embarkation date on it. Or, mail them a small box to the ship. You can do that, too.

Also, if it's a gift you're giving onboard the same cruise as you there's another option. You can go to the gift shops as soon as they open on embarkation day, buy a gift card, bring a card to put it in, and "gift" it onboard. You can deliver it in person anytime or clip it to the fish by their door.

It shows everything, including anything you have prepaid (like gratuities or onboard credits).
