Cool glasses for sure!We didn't get good pics of the eclipse with our phones, plus the clouds kept going in and out-but my Godson enjoyed all the fuss and getting to wear the cool glasses:

Hopefully everyone hoping to see this was able to dodge the clouds. I ended up deciding on one location, spent the night, and woke up to skies that worried me. I went into chaser mode and drove to a more favorable spot. The pictures donβt do it justice, but it was utterly spectacular! I also added a video where you can see some of the planets that were visible.

Such a cool experience!
And looking at your photos made me sad I hadn't figured out a filter for my DSLR. I actually was reminded of the crescent idea when I was online at the last minute trying to see if I could find a way to photograph the sun itself. We had fun though, digging through the cabinets for just the right things to play with. Also fired up the Cricut to cut a page full of holes. Since then saw a sunburst shaped item that had "Eclipse 2024" cut from dots to do the crescent shadow thing. Wish I had done that too!Seeing your crescent pics makes me sad that I didn't capture any this time. I wasn't around much to caste a shadow. I tried taking off my Crocs in hopes that the holes on top might do something, but no luck from the angles I had. Oh well, at least I got to do it during the annular back in October.
