This year we stayed on site #419 for the 2012 Walt Disney World Marathon 1/5/12-1/10/12. We enjoyed this loop because it was a premium pet friendly loop and super close to the Marina bus stop, which means you can take any of the 3 colored bus lines to the front of the park. Below are pictures of the actual site. I don't think it's the biggest premium site out there, but it was big enough for our 43 ft. RV plus the SUV that we tow behind. Just be aware that the nightly fireworks and boat parade music can be heard loudly from this site, which we enjoyed. Backing into the site was tight but we did it in one try. A trashcan and the recycling bins are both located on this site. Would not hesitate to return to this site.

Nice rig and site there, univmd. Loop 400 is right down in the middle of things all right.

I noticed in the picture taken from the rear that you basically put your back bumper at the end of the pad. Were there trees close behind in the back or could you have backed up farther? Up to where your rear axle was at the back of the pad?

How did you do in the marathon? I ran the Full eight years ago....

Thanks, yes there were tree limbs in the back, so we could not back up any further. On this particular site, it looks like they poured the concrete all the way back as far as they could go, when they upgraded this site to premium. That said, you wouldn't want to back up any further, ALL the water, electrical, sewer, and cable TV connections were at the front of the site! Luckily we had long enough connections. I ran the marathon in 5:00 hours, my better half ran it in 4:23
