WE (here in the Dallas area) have a chance of snow tonight! This is crazy! My pool was so close to being warm enough to swim in on Tuesday and now we may get snow???

Thanks a lot Groucho! ;)
I apologize profusely and accept my punishment, whatever it may be. But please, B'rer Bear, whatever you don't, please don't throw me into the Pentax Patch! ;)

If the weather ever clears up a little and the skies have some actual color to them, maybe I'll get a chance to take some stuff to contribute to this thread with...

Here are some from my neck of the woods. These are about 3 hours away in a provincial park called The Hopewell Rocks.

Some more from eastern Canada. The first two are from Mactaquac Provincial Park about 20 minutes from my house and the last are from my backyard. They were all taken last fall.

That's what I'm saying! They said sleet for tomorow! It is APRIL people! I'm going out to my BIL's near Ennis tomorrw. They are way out in the sticks and I wanted to get some really good wildflower shots. Not if it is sleeting! Shoulda shot the kids in my front yard bluebonnets last week!

It's a cool 62 here in Central FL, same as Southern Cali I see. I was surprised to feel how cool it was outside tonight when I went shopping around 4pm compared to how HOT it was midweek. No wonder why everyone is getting sick again and again. Sheesh pick one or the other...lol.

declansdad, at the hopewell rocks photo is that water in the background? and what kind of emergency is that tower for? ( so confused:) ) nice though, just wondering
boy you poor southerners are having it rough, it's a balmy 25 and whiteout conditions here in Ohio, our normal "spring" , we don't even wear coats in this kind of weather:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: ;)

Those are beautiful I love old houses. I just love to sit back and look at them and think of how pretty they must have been in their prime.

Yes. IT was far too cold for me at my house today! I am just southwest of Dallas and we had snow flurries. Seriously, our last freeze is normally mid March. I planted my veggies last week when it was 80 thinking I was in the clear!

Here is a shot from my front yard for the other frozen Texans here...

I posted this photo on the attractions board, but this is my part of the world from yesterday. :)

Exactly. I love them too. Maybe I am just a romantic at heart but I have to wonder what the lives of the people who have lived there were like. It is fascinating.

I love driving around the country, finding the old houses and stopping to take pictures of them ... :goodvibes

One of our resort towns, this is Sabang which is part of Puerto Gallera. It's a popular tourist destination.

I want to be in your part of the world.

It's tough - and darn it, I have to go down to Disney next weekend as well to meet friends for lunch. Some life, huh? :)

Though I love seeing the snow and fall photos - I do miss a change of seasons (but not too cold, I can't do that anymore!)
