Pictures, Dasani, and...More pictures!! *Complete!*

I read it just after you posted it, I just didn't post anything.

Looks like a great day. I can't wait to do some people watching at the Magic Kingdom! Love your pictures!

Great update! Love Dole Whip! LOVE Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, but I would save my fast pass for that - I hate that long queue... especially in the MIDDLE OF JUNE. So very very HOT HOT HOT! (but still my favorite ride! :goodvibes )

We had the WORST line for Peter Pan two Junes ago - so much so that DH wouldn't let us ride this past June! lol I like it, though, so I think we will overrule him and go on this June!

Good for you riding EE! I still have NO plans for that one! DD put it on her list of "did it once, no need to EVER do it again." :lmao:

4 AM  limo pickup to the airport tomorrow.... Ft Lauderdale SUN, here we come!!! :beach: (I'll catch up when we return!)

Im here! I was out walking my dog, and just jumped back on.

Sounds like you guys had a really fun day. The old guy on thunder mountain cracked me up. That sounds exactly like my Grandpa. Him and my grandma adore disney. He is the biggest kid when he's there, never stops smiling. Actually, they just told me a funny story about Disney last night. My grandmas ECV (that electric scooter) died right when they were at the end of the MK, and my grandpa used his to push her to scooter return!

Space Mountain looks quite rusty with no lights on! Creeps me out! That dole whip looks mighty yummy right now. Makes me want to go run to TCBY and get some ice cream. In fact, I think im going to.

Good for you for conquering everest again! :woohoo: I don't think I'll be able to do it. Im a big chicken! I HATE coasters. We'll have to see.

Oh, and if you don't mind, quick question. What kind of dog is that in your signature? It looks like a yorkie, and we are seriously considering getting one! If it is, would you mind sharing some info about him?

At least you DH lets you ride. Nick didn't like it when we went so has decided we won't be riding it at all on this holiday... or any future holiday :sad1: , How can you not like Peter Pan :sad2: ??

Have a great holiday, I loved Fort Lauderdale. And sun... so jealous :thumbsup2

Yayyyyyy!!!

I know I'm joining your trip report a bit late, but I just read the whole thing, and I'm loving it so far!! You can't be nearly finished, boooo!!

I'm from Australia, and guess what - we don't have Dasani here!! We loved it when we were in the US though! Although I do remember noticing that the Dasani lid is a little bit smaller than other lids. Isn't it?! Heh! :confused3

I have an idea for your September trip. Maybe you can tell Darren's parents that you're not going after all, but then secretly go without them. Heeeee. I guess that's a bit mean, so maybe not. :rolleyes1

Anyway, can't wait for the next chapter!! :yay:

great update and pics and look at you going on EE again. you daredevil. :rotfl2:

Seems like a fun time was had.

Don't worry I'm here, sorry I was just updating mine, glad to see you joined me BTW . Great update, looks like another fab day, your making me so excited about going, I'm going to be bouncing off the walls soon.

Thanks!! I bet you are very excited!

Oh and I'm ready for the next one now...

:lmao:

Oh, ok. As long as someone's reading, I guess! :thumbsup2

Yep, it was a great day. You shouldn't people watch for too long, you might get scared! :scared: Thanks!

BTM line wasn't too bad or we wouldn't have stood in it...It's just alot of walking in the line, like a maze or something. Believe me, I know it's hot!

LOL about your DD putting EE on that list...I thought about putting it there too! Instead, I put RNRC there :rotfl2:

Awesome about your trip to Ft. Lauderdale!! :yay: I LOOOOVE the beach! I hope y'all have a great time and I'll talk to you when you return :thumbsup2

:lmao: :lmao: The story with your Grandpa has me cracking up!! Everytime I see an old couple in Disney, I tell Darren that will be us in 40 years :cloud9: I think it's so cute when older couples go to Disney alone and still enjoy it.

Hope you enjoy your ice cream if you got some.

I don't really like roller coasters either, but mainly the ones with the shoulder restraint. I don't like being tied down and not able to move :scared:

Yes, Jasper was a Yorkie. He's no longer with us :sad1: but he was the best dog I've ever had. Very, very loving and affectionate. He was playful, even at 6 years old. They don't shed, and they have human hair, not dog hair, so no one will have allergies with it. We kept Jasper's hair cut short, and it was pretty easy to manage. He didn't like baths though! If I could have him back I'd never give him a bath ever again if it's what he wanted. :sad1:

Anyway, if you do get one, they're hypo-glycemic so you will have to give it some sweet stuff out of a tube when it's a puppy. The breeder will probably tell you that. Try not to ever give it people food, it's very bad for them and they can get pancreanitis. Especially no grapes, it can shut down their kidneys. Those are bad for all dogs though, not just Yorkies.

He was only 9 ounces when we got him, so little and cute! If you do get one, just make sure to love it and cuddle it as much as possible because you never know when you might lose it.

If you have any specific questions, just let me know, I'd be happy to help. Thanks for reading my update!

Awwww, go without him then! ;)

:welcome: Thanks so much for joining!!!!! I can't believe I'm almost finished too, but hopefully you will join me for my Pre-TR that I'm starting after I finish this one.

That's awesome that you live in Australia, I'd love to visit there someday. I can't believe you don't have Dasani there though! I guess I'll have to stock up before I go :lmao: I didn't notice about the lids though :confused3 It's really the only thing I drink out of a bottle, so maybe that's why.

That is a mean thing to do...Darren wouldn't go for it lol. But thanks anyway, I have thought of that!

Great Update! Enjoyed all your pix. I love the Magic Kingdom!

:rotfl: At the string and the woman with the dropped ice cream. I love ice cream but not off the ground! No way:scared1:

A second time on Expedition Everest! Good for you!:yay:

I noticed, just a little late. Sorry it's been a hectic day. The kids were out of school today and I was trying to update my TR as well. Great update. Great pics. THe ones of Space Mt. make me a little leary about riding it also. I don't know why, just looks weird. Glad you got to ride EE again and not in the back this time. I enjoyed it when we went and I hope to ride it again. My dh would have made fun of me forever about the ball of string too, lol.

Great update! I've never seen Space Mountain with the lights on - pretty cool!

I think I must get the same broken laser you had on Buzz... :rolleyes1

Those cinnamon almonds look awesome!

The Contemporary is my all time favorite resort - it just screams Disney to me. We stayed there a few times as a kid and I took my daughter there last December for a weekend - it was great!!

Yay for riding EE again!!

Well, wouldn't you know....I find this, read it all in one sitting, love every second of it, and get to the end only to discover it's almost over! Oh no! You'll definitely need to start that PTR for your Sept. trip. I can definitely relate with the relatives inviting themselves on vacation---we've got that going on for the trip we're taking in Dec.

To think....I've been to Disney all these years and never knew I was missing out on cute Mickey rings. I am now on a mission to find one in July! (I may also need to use your tip of gluing it together with clear nail polish. Crafty, crafty...)

Thanks for keeping me entertained tonight! :goodvibes

I'm here too! You guys had a full day! Love that you went on EE again! Oh and where is the cart for the cinn almonds- they look and sounds awesome!

I can imagine your day was hectic with all three kids home all day! :scared1:
I think Space Mountain looks weird with the lights on too. Definitely designed to be an in the dark coaster.
Thanks for reading! :flower3:

Thank you. I was thinking of staying at the Contemporary for our honeymoon, but we wouldn't have gotten a guaranteed view of the Magic Kingdom, so I booked the Polynesian instead. I think the closeness to MK would be so awesome!

Thanks for reading!

:welcome: Thanks for joining in! That sucks that you have relatives inviting themselves too. It's bad because you want the alone time, but they ARE relatives and you don't really want to hurt their feelings...So you just don't say anything.

I thought everyone knew of the Mickey rings! You can find them in almost every shop in Disney. They're not cheaply made, and I have no problems with them turning my finger green or anything. I just have issues with the diamond popping out, but my nail polish trick works! And it doesn't turn all white like super glue would lol.

Thank you for reading! :wave2:

Yay you're here!! :) The almond cart is right by the Magic Carpets. It's to the left if you're walking and the carpets and the tiki room are on your right. You can ask a cast member if you can't find it, but I'm sure you won't miss it :thumbsup2

Oh yes, a daredevil indeed! :rotfl: Next thing you know I might be skydiving!
Ok, maybe not :scared:

That is just foolish talk now. :lmao:

I could never do that no matter what money amount was offered.

I am exactly that way. Never ever ever ever ever...EVER :scared: I don't even know how you fly in an airplane :rotfl: I won't even do that!

I am getting better at that and I actually enjoy it more and more. You should really try it. Just a short trip. it makes traveling so much easier.

Great trip report!
Contemporary is gorgeous since they renovated. We love it. EE is an awesome ride. I am :sad2: your trip report is almost over.
