Pictures, Dasani, and...More pictures!! *Complete!*

I know I am really late for joining in but I just found your TR. It has been great so far!!!! I noticed you were there in May 2007. So were DH and I. It was so hot and muggy then but I had never been in May so it was fun. Also DH and I got married young too. We got married this past December, I am 20 and DH is 21. We have been together for 5 and half years so it was time. Can't wait for your next update and can't wait for your September Pre-Trip Report.

So sad your trip is almost over; of course we'll join you on your pre trip. It will help pass time until Sept. Sometimes I feel like I'm wishing my life away counting the days until I get to go back to WDW.
It looks like you guys had fun on the sea racers. Maybe we will try it one day but I have such a hard time sacrificing park time to do other things on property. I feel like if the parks are open and we are not there we are missing out on something. I'm crazy, I know. I can't help it.
How cool that Darrin won Bingo. We used to play all the time; but I never won anything:sad2: .
Looking forward hearing all about the rest of your day. Thanks for sharing.

just found your trip today...read through the whole thing...can you tell we are not busy at all at work!:rotfl2: I too only get Dasani water...i only cave if there is no Dasani available and I need water. For some reason it tastes better than the other waters..don't know why...it just does.
About the ESPN ZONE...i too did not want to go there. But we were there during football season and DH had to watch the Buckeyes game...but at least the food was good...very filling but good. And DH says that he does not hate LSU...because they were obviously the better team and he said it showed. He was disapointed they lost of course but said the better team won.

We went on our last vacation to WDW last Sept 22-29...and it was hot and rainy. Pack your ponchos. We will not though be going back at that time even for free dining (which is way too much food anyways). Next time will be either early December so I can see the xmas lights or in Jan. My family always went in Jan because crowds were lower, temp was decent (better than the cold and snow in Ohio anyways). But we will not be going for at least another 3 yrs since we are expecting our first child in Oct...I want to wait til Dec 2010 or Jan 2011 before we go again..but DH would probably like to wait even longer. Of course I might change my mind once the baby is here and it all of course depends on their personality and stamina...because it will be a long and tiring trip for them and us. That is definitely why we would have to stay on property so we can go back and take naps!
Can't wait for another installment...and have fun planning your Sept Trip.

Hi Heather!

Those little boats look like soooo much fun. I can't wait for it to be summer and I can take my boat out and go tubing! The weather needs to get warmer so we can get it ready for summer. You guys look like you had a pretty nice relaxing day though!

Im still sad you're reports almost over. Good thing you're going again so we can all join you on the PTR!

Well I finished my cake and cleaned the kitchen, so now im off to go listen to your cousins music! Im sure i'll love it. Ill pop back in after im done.

See ya:wave2:

I might rent a boat in September, we shall see.

I will let you know when I receive the cd.

Alrighty.

My husband took our 3-year-old son on a Sea Raycer ride in September. He said the same thing...that it was too slow. He was expecting it to go much faster. He got yelled at by the water patrol guys, too. I guess he got too close to the Polynesian shore. I guess boys, no matter how old, have a hard time following the rules.

Your 3 year old thought they were too slow? :rotfl: I was expecting SPEED boats, but I guess Disney wouldn't let 12 year olds drive something so fast. It was relaxing more than anything. That's funny that your DH got yelled at too!

Hey, better late than never! :welcome: It was hot in May, but it wasn't unbearable...I've been in August, and THAT was unbearable! :scared:
Congratulations on your marriage! :lovestruc It's not so bad being married young is it? I don't know why people think it is. :confused3

I'm sad too! I know what you mean about wishing your life away. But the time spent in Disney is like warp speed, I hate it!
I don't like wasting time OFF PROPERTY...Darren's parents like to go off alot, but as long as I'm in DTD or a resort, I'm ok. I'd much rather be in a park though, so I know what you mean.
I've never won anything at Bingo either! Not even the door prize :sad2: My sister wants us to go with her tomorrow night, so maybe I'll get lucky then!

Great trip report, I love the pictures. Thanks for posting it.

Thanks for reading it. :wave2:

Another Dasani lover! :woohoo: That's sweet of your husband to not be upset that LSU won. If he was, he probably wouldn't want you talking to me! :rotfl:

Don't worry, we always have our ponchos because you just never know in Florida. We went for a quick 3 day weekend in September before. I wish we could go in December at least once because I'd love to see the lights, but Darren's work won't allow him to take a vacation in December, since that's peak season at his job. (He's Santa! LOL, not really, but he's the one that brings Christmas presents to everyone...He delivers UPS :lmao: but I like to call him Santa)

Congratulations on the baby!! :lovestruc :lovestruc How special! I bet you can't wait to bring the little one to Disney. I know I wouldn't be able to wait! ;)

Hey girl. I want to go tubing too! I'm sad my report is almost over too :sad1:
Did the cake turn out good?

Aww... thank you! :flower3:

Well come on up to NY and we'll go tubing! sooo much fun

The cake came out wonderful, thanks for asking! My yankees symbol got a little smushed when I was moving it onto the cake. Tom still really liked it though. Heres a picture

its my first cake I ever made with fondant...and the next one won't be till july!

Well im off to Plaster Funcraft. The girls and I decided to be 6 years old again today!

See ya :)

Love your TR so far! And the best part is all the pictures. It drives me batty when there's a great, well written trip or dining report, and not enough pictures. I like to see who I'm reading about. :)

Man, how do you stay so thin!! All that ice cream and fried foods, I'd blow up. When we go to WDW, we usually do commando style and with 12 hours a day at the parks, I still gain a couple pounds!! I wish I could be slim and petite like you! I'm tall, and not thin. :rotfl2:

Can't wait to read the rest!

That looks really good. I have just gotten into cake decorating. mainly my kids cakes. Was it really hard to work with Fondant?

Heather, im sorry to go off topic, I just feel bad not answering a question.:flower3:

I did a trial run with the fondant before that cake. I made it and covered 2 plain small square rectangles to get the feel for it. I didn't think it was that difficult. I bake all the time, and I wanted to try cake decorating, so I googled 'fondant 101' and went with the first link. It was not nearly as hard as I thought. I would do a trial run to get a feel for it before your actual cake. Ive never taken a class or anything, so im not an expert by any means. I just love to bake, and try new things a lot. If you have any more questions, please feel free to pm me!

I can't wait to read more of your trip report!!:yay:

Thank you! I know I love trip reports with lots of pictures, so I made sure to add a bunch. It's actually way more pictures than talking, but I figure Disney people want to SEE Disney, not hear me ramble on about it! :lmao:

I'm really short, only about 5'3" so maybe that's why everybody thinks I look so small? I eat alot, and it just hasn't caught up with me...When I'm older I'll wish I was back like this, but I really want to gain some weight right now...In the right places of course, but it never works out that way does it? :rotfl:

Thanks so much for reading!

Its really not that bad.

What isn't? :confused3

Thank You!
