Pictures, Dasani, and...More pictures!! *Complete!*

I finally made it over here and was glad when I saw this wasn't closed yet so I can comment!
I was hooked by the end of the 1st page, by the way!

I know! I told DH that my Mickey ring shines better than my wedding rings...He didn't like that very much  Have fun on your trip!

I :lmao: when I read this.

Guess I scared you all away with my love for LSU? I hope not!

Here's the random information you probably don't care to know:

-DH Darren and I have been together for over 7 years. Yes, I was only 14 when we got together. That always made people turn their nose up :snooty: but look at us now.

- I will never ride TOT. I am definitely not a fan of the 'free falling' exerienece. No thank you.

- Darren LOVES it. He can ride anything at all. He usually doesn't want to leave me alone though, so he doesn't get to ride.

- I rode RNRC once, but I probably won't again. I don't like having a harness holding my shoulders down. I'm very claustrophobic.

- I'm nervous to ride EE, but I told Darren that I would this time. Wish me luck!

- Most things I like start with a 'D'. Darren, Disney, Dasani, Destin (Florida), Dole Whips, Dogs, Dolphins, Dungeness Crabs, Dedicated Readers ...I'm sure there's more..

- Darren is a GREAT drawer. He recently drew a picture of Walt Disney. If y'all are interested in seeing some of his pictures, just let me know and I'll scan them.

- I can't draw worth a crap

- We plan to take our 'future' kids to Disney every year.

- Hopefully the 'future' isn't that far off

- If I saw a Disser in the park, I probably wouldn't go up to them. I'm shy in that way.

- When I told Darren this, he said, "Well, make me a name on there and get me a green Mickey head thing, I'll talk to them!" :lmao: I told him no one would even know who he was!

- While watching Modern Marvels show about Disney, my brother (who has never been) made some crazy comments.
While showing Soarin', "How much does it cost to ride THAT?"
"What about that thing you ride that takes you around and you can see everything (Monorail), how much does that cost?"
"All of that is free? Hm."
"You knew that TOT didn't just drop, it takes you forward and everything?"
I was like, "Um, yeah. Do you see who you're telling?" LOL.
And he's 25 years old! Don't worry, I'm taking him very soon. There's no reason for anyone to live like this! :rotfl2: He was skeptical before, but I think he wants to go now.

-Sticky Florida water always makes me break out. I don't know what it is, but it happens almost every time. :sad2:

-I like to scrapbook, but I'm no good at it.

Ok, I'm sure that's plenty of information for you. Nothing to really add for the planning, except I have a few more things to buy.

-Medicine
-Soap
-Books
-Drinks and snacks for the ride
-Lysol
-Purell

I think that's it. I know I'll probably get in Wal-Mart and need this, and that, and this other thing. Sorry DH!!

Will update again soon with more pictures!

GO Tigers!

You are funny! I like all the D's. I know I'm so late and you went on this trip already, but I hope you got to ride EE and liked it! I  it!

What a shame that your brother has not been to Disney yet! :faint:

I love ToT but I know a lot of people don't, but at least you have tried it before saying you don't like it :thumbsup2
I have to ride several times...always at least twice because when we drop all the way down the first time, I leave my stomach at the top and I have to go back and get it! :rotfl2:

you can always say it's your anniversary and get anniversary pins...it's coming up soon...right!? **wink, wink** :rotfl2:

Hey we did it, and I'm not ashamed. We were only 2 months off. If they'd offer free dining in November we could go but you can't have the best of both worlds (or you can---if you wear the anniversary pins! ;) )

Ok - all caught up now! You're pictures are great - what a cute couple you are! Can't wait to read more!

I agree!!

Ok, let me just mention that we are so disappointed that Splash Mountain will be closed during our trip.
But hey, at least we MIGHT be able to ride Spaceship Earth, right? Gotta look on the bright side.

Ok, before we changed our dates (for the first time!) they were January 11th- January 19th.
Darren keeps reminding me of this CONSTANTLY! "Guess what? We'd be leaving for Disney World."
"We'd be just getting to Disney right now."
"I bet we'd be riding Haunted Mansion..."
:headache:

Soooooo, when the 19th rolls around, this is gonna be me.
"Aww, we'd be packing up to leave right now."
"All these people checking in, and we're leaving." (Doesn't that just kill you to see! Ahh)
"We'd be just starting that loooooooooong drive home now." :lmao:

Seeeeeeee, changing the dates for later isn't so bad after all!

Ok, what do y'all want next? I feel like I'm probably boring you! LOL. I can show more pics (my house, me and Darren, my ADORABLE little nephew)
or if there's any specific questions, just ask! :thumbsup2

we were feeling the same way about RnR last time.

I :rotfl: again reading your idea. Didja do it? Guess I'll have to read on to see!

and no, you're NOT boring by far

your plan for the first day sounds great! :thumbsup2 Gotta love EMH's! I never thought we'd make it for the morning EMH either but we did at Epcot and boy was I glad we did. Walked right onto all the major rides more than once. That's the best way to do soarin' I think! :thumbsup2

yup yup! That was awesome! I'm so glad y'all were there with me or I'd have been by myself since my lazy husband was snoozing away! (since you've already revealed this bit of info, I figure I can say it here even though I haven't gotten to it on my report :lmao: )

I hope your DH gets up in time at least one morning to do an early EMH. it's totally worth it. Just don't do the thing where they teach you about plastic and then you race a digital robot first thing in the morning if you do the early EMH at epcot. we did that and it totallly exausted us. :rotfl:

:rotfl: yeah, especially me! *pant*pant*

Soooo our 2008 planning video came in today. I heard it's almost exactly like the 2007 one, but hey, it's free! And it will still get us excited (as if we needed any more reason!)
We're probably watching it later tonight.

I got that one too! I enjoy watching all the videos. Usually, just before our trip, we'd always watch ALL the Disney videos we had, from the oldest to the newest to get us pumped for the trip! I know, weird huh?
My mom still has all of them...my DH and I only had 2 to watch last year, but we did (or at least, I did) and maybe we'll get to watch all my mom's this year!

well...back to reading!

Glad you finally got a chance to read!!! And I'm glad you like it. No, y'all are not weird at all for watching the videos, we do too!! :lmao:

Well, I had alot more, but Photobucket is being a pain right now. I'll try to do some more later.
In the meantime, I got my hair done today. What do y'all think?

new7.jpg

I love your hair! Your eyes are a beautiful green in that picture.

As for the house pictures, I counted 6 out of 15 that had something Disney in them. I really thought there'd be more. :rolleyes1
Just kidding...I love the Mickey set on your computer desk. I nearly bought those last year on our trip (but I was not allowing myself to buy too much because we were on a tight budget)

And I just  the LSU room! We have a room that has LSU stuff in it (rug, pillows and a throw on top of the futon, lamp), but we didn't paint the walls to match. Where did y'all buy your paint?

I'm back to reading...

HAHA thanks!! There will be more Disney stuff over the years, I'm sure.

We got the paint at Lowe's..They have team colors!

That's true, but I still get nervous...What if they don't have what I really need? Like my prescriptions or glasses, like you said...

Oh, funny thing..On our honeymoon, I forgot my WHOLE makeup bag. So we had to guy buy me all new makeup! :rotfl2: I bet DH will be reminding me to bring it this time.

Thanks!

Definitely take a cruise! If you do it, you gotta do it Disney. It's so awesome going to their private island and being the only ship docked there.
All the food and drinks (except alcohol, of course) on the island and ship are free. I know on Carnival, you have to pay if you want Coke or something.

Wow...your whole makeup bag? On my honeymoon (to HAWAII) I forgot my swimsuits! (I was going to bring 2) My DH laughed at me, until he realized he'd forgotten his too! :lmao:
We both got new swimsuits...but I think we got a pretty good deal on them so I didn't feel so bad.

I'd love to take a Disney cruise one day. But I'd want to do the land/sea package because I know seeing all Disney stuff and characters, it would remind me of all my favorite attractions and I would miss them.

Thanks for being with me til the end!! I really appreciate it.
Are you talking about Cheri? I was reading her TR too, but I guess she's been having computer issues. I was really enjoying it!
It would be fun to meet up, we'll have to work something out. I have to warn you though, I'm really shy at first

yes, me, me! :goodvibes Sorry I was gone so long!

yes, I'm talking about Cheri. She's such a sweetheart. She's still having computer issues. She said she misses the dis but she feels like if she comes back now she will be taunted with the fact that she never finished her Tr. I told her no one would care, that we all just miss her bein' around. I still can't convince her to come bacck :confused3 It would be awesome to plan for us all to meet up though! I will tell her you will be there too. I'm sure she'll remember you and be excited :) Shyness is fine...we'll brake you of that!!

awww  I made it, I finally made it! :thumbsup2

Tell that girl to get her booty back on here! Nobody will be mean to her, and if they are, then they have no business being around here anyway.
I know, it's really great when you get the room you request! I can't believe Splash was closed, it was one of our favorites.
Thanks!!

awwwwww  thanks for standing up for me!

good going on the king sized bed! That's the way to go!

I know, I keep trying to tell her that. I guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed that she gets a new computer soon and then I can really hound her about it. :rotfl:

thanks again!!

What?? Crazy girl! Tell her to come back - we miss her! Whether she decides to finish her trip report or not is up to her.

awwww  for you too! thanks!

I agree! Maybe I should start a "Cheri come back" thread. :rotfl:

:rotfl2:

no need to...I'm here now. :)

Carla, our September dates have changed :sad1: We will now be going the 5th-13th...Darren had to take those vacation days because the week we wanted was booked up.

That is, if I decide I still want to go  I still wish it was just us two going.

awwww mannnn!

Great update! The room's so cute, I love all the little Disney touches. And everyone should Lysol their room before they touch anything! :lmao:

I'm going to get that "lysol to go" for the room this year

oh darn!! That stinks. We are arriving on the 13th....and so is cheri. Wish you were staying at least one extra night. Would be nice for all of us to get together. Oh well.

I'll let Cheri know. I just told her today you would be therel

yeah, that DOES stink.

LOL Cheri was probably like, "Who is that?" anyway :lmao:

No way jose! I know who you are. We live in the same city...I SHOULD know. I'm surprised I haven't ran into you in Walmart or anything. :rotfl:
(isn't that place ALWAYS crazy busy? I hate it!)

She said another dis meet would be great. She didn't say she did or didn't remember you so I would asume she does. :confused3

I thought I did say I remembered her. Carla...you okay? :rolleyes1

Oh, BTW, I booked our room for the September trip today! Caribbean Beach, here we come!! :woohoo:

congrats! I want to stay there some day. The only mod I've stayed at is Coronado Springs...and those rooms are really far apart too!

You have me totally psyched to ride EE this year. i will ride it even if I have to go by myself, darn it!

yes, you WILL ride EE...you BETTER ride it!

Oh Sci-Fi is good. If ya'll go there you MUST get a drink called Marsha's Martian. It is delecious!! It's basically a chocolate shake with alcohol in it. We get one every year. Cheri asked me if they do to go cups on those because she wants to carry it around the park with her :rotfl:

I still plan on that if they let me ;)

I want to grab one and then watch Fantasmic while I enjoy it!

I'm not positive but it probably does. Bummer. Tell Darren to get one so you can at least try it. I can't taste the Kahlua in it. It really just tastes like a milk shake to me. :confused3

I found this on allears.
Marsha's Martian - chocolate and vanilla shakes mixed with Bailey's Irish Cream and Kahlua

oh well :confused3 I love it! (Carla introduced me to it)

LOL he doesn't like Kahlua either! My sister always tells me to taste her Mudslide's, saying you can't taste the Kahlua, but I always can. I prefer my chocolate without alcohol...I'm more of a Margarita-Strawberry Daiquiri-Pucker's type of girl lol

So did you try a "glow-tini" yet? If not, you should try one in September.

Thanks for saying hi! :wave2: Yes, the in-laws are still planning on going, but since Darren told them that we're driving ourselves, they might only go for like 5 days...So we'll still be by ourselves a little while :)

That's not so bad! :)

I don't want to mulitquote all those long updates, so I figured I'd just say my peace without the quotes. I am proud of you for riding EE! I think you did pretty good, and that picture is hilarious! My DH had pretty much the same face when he rode...seems like neither one of them could find the camera, eh?

I'm loving the updates, but I'm still not even halfway done. :lmao: I better start skimming through (but I get drawn into all the comments...I like to feel like I was here all along :goodvibes )

so I just finished your TR and it was awesome.... I admire you- I am leaving for Disney in 13 hours to be exact and have been reading the boards since I booked this trip about 6 months ago- just have not been motivated enough to do Pre TR- maybe maybe I will post a TR when I get back cause I am sooooo psyched.

Your TR just got me sooo in the mood to be there already- here is the backround and itninerary:

Myself- 34 and admitted-Disaholic- I have been to dsiney at least 50 times ( first time in 1975)
DH- hasnt been to Disney in 12 years ( he played the responsible adult role and stayed home to work and make money to feed my Dis habit- what a guy! while I went with DS and Dis Mom)
DS- 8 - this wil be his 10th time to disney- what a lucky kid!

FYI- My mom and I have gone to disney for the past 8 years while DH stayed home and worked-lol so this is the first time all of us are going together as a family..... awwwww you say- but DH can get a little annoyed by my obsessive planning- for instance I have not been allowed to share any plans/adr's
itineraries, etc... that I have made so far- but did that stop me from making them- absolutely not!

I have the whole trip planned- but we are not going commando- I have parks and ADR's only planned as we are on the DP- other than that we will take the rides as they come- although I did mention to DH something about getting a FP for soaring the second we step foot into EPCOT- DH just shot me a look and that was all I said!

Here is out itinerary- just in case I decide to do a TR- cause I need something to do right now to kill the last 1/2 hour at work!

We are drving from NC so here goes:

Tonight: go home pack up car get all stuff ready to keep DS busy during the drive- although he is a really good traveler- and I saved a surprise for him for the car- see he is a die hard sports fan- hence the hotel we are staying ( I would have much preffered the YC/BC but nooooo DS only wanted AS Sports) back to the surprise- he is a born and bred NY Giants fan- so when they won the Superbowl this year I ordered the SI package that came with the free Superbowl highlights DVD- so I will be handing that to him in the car tomorrow- and that should keep him busy for a while- he can seriously watch sports DVD's over and over and over- thank god he wears headphones!

Friday- wake up at 4:30 am- get everyone up and out by 5:30- stop to pick up bagels at the bagel store- already called them & they usually open at 6 am but the owner /baker knows me and said I can come there at 5:30 so he can make me bagels and cc for the trip- what an awesome man!)

so on the road by 5:45 for a 10+ hour drive

Hoping to arrive by 6:pm the latest- give or take- due to potty breaks and food/gas /stuff

Friday night- Epcot- Dinner ADR's at Tuttto Italia and hopfully make it on 1 ride

Saturday: Animal Kingdom/ Dinner at WCC - fist time- can't wait- read so many funt hings about it on the dis boards!

Sunday: Magic Kingdom- EMH- ADR's- Dinner- Tony's

Monday: Epcot- and can you beleive got ADR's for Dinner at Le Cellier- also first time- sooo looking forward to!

Tuesday: open for voting- DS and I vote for MK- can never get too much of the castle in my opinion! tentative ADR's for dinner- The Plaza- if we go to MK

Wednesday:Typhoon Lagoon- Dinnner at HDDR- fist time- tier 3- a little nervous about that- but again read only good things- and heard there are really no bad seats - so we will see....

Thursday- MGM- HS? so strange- anyway- ADR's Fantasmic Package at Mama Melrose- DH's first time for Fantasmic- should be awesome!

Friday- Blizzard Beach- ADR's - Dinner at Epcot- Germany- Biergarten- DH will ove this place!

Saturday- so sad last day :-( ugh I hate the last day of vacay's seriously so depressing ( last time DH and I went pre DS we just kept extending- I think we stayed for a totla of 12 days and at 3 hotels because the ones were in didnt have rooms available for the extra night- we had a blast!
anyway - the last day I have lots planned- first to the outlets near DTD on 535- if you havent been you must go beccause they have a disney character outlet where you can get lots of dis souveniers for dirt cheap also have Gap and Old Navy outlets- woohoo! then over to DTD for lunch ant WPE and then Goofys Candy thingy also promised DS he coaul make his own lighsaber- totally looking forward to that...
then off to the Boardwalk ( DH has never been- he is going to love this place! it is truly a sight at night time) anyhwo- ADR's Dinner at Spoodles- then walk over to Epcot to watch illuminations and say bye bye to the happiest place in the world- we will get up bright and early Sunday Morning and hit the road for the sad drive back- ok must stop talking about end of trip when it hasnt even started- why do we do this to ourselves!!!!

So there you have it- my Pre TR in a nutshell- sorry to jump on your thread- but that was fun- and it killed almost my last 1/2 hour- I think i will do TR when I get home!

Thank you Heather again for yours- so much fun to read- loved all of your pics- Honeymoon- so jealous- happy for you- my DH wouldnt go for it- what a pooper!

Your house is amazing- love the dis touches- ooh a phone call must go!

Awww, your nephew is adorable!

I agree! :cutie:

That's cute about your DD...Will she be trying the American Idol show when it comes to the Studios?

Ooh, ooh, I am! I've read all about it

I don't know any details about it yet either, but I'm sure they will let any age try out...I mean, it IS Disney after all. I think it would be fun to watch. I heard that there's people backstage doing the singer's hair and makeup...Don't know how true that is though :confused3

Thanks! I'll have to show that to Darren :thumbsup2
How's your family these days?

just incase no one saw this at screamscape's website:
2008 - American Idol - Confirmed - (2/8/08) Don’t say I didn’t warn you, but Disney just confirmed yesterday afternoon that a live American Idol branded show would be added to the former ABC Theater building by the end of 2008. Bypassing Fox entirely, Disney signed a deal with the shows creators: 19 Entertainment and FremantleMedia Licensing. Guests to Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be able to get a taste of the real American Idol experience that will include auditioning, some backstage coaching and some hair and makeup work, performing in front of a live audience and finally feedback from a panel of judges. As previously rumored, the winners of each show throughout the day will be invited back to a Grand Finale showdown at the end of the day where the winner will receive a cut to the front of the line pass good for a real American Idol audition if they choose to use it.

I think it sounds really cool! I think I know what I will sing

andrews1ma, I am still not finished reading here but I saw your post and figured I should jump out of order and comment :goodvibes

your plans look GREAT! You'll have to do a TR...I would love to hear about the HDDR and Spoodles...want to try them. You will  Le Celllier!!!!!!!!! :woohoo:

Thanks! Tink is hard to catch, especially if you're not standing in the right spot. She flies towards Tomorrowland.

I haven't seen her in a while. I will have to try and catch her this time.

I'm just the opposite! I like fountain Coke way better! :lmao:

Oh yes, fountain coke is SO good! That sucks that y'all had yucky coke!

Hmm, I'll be on the lookout..The exterminator came yesterday, so I might not have much luck...But I guess that's a good thing, since we pay to have the bugs killed!! :rotfl2:

That was a gross bug. We always have spiders where we live. We usually feed them to our Oscars.

January 28th, Monday. Day 4. Part 1.

For some reason, there's just not many pictures from today. Darren wasn't doing his duties as the photographer, so blame him!! LOL

Darren got up and took a shower at 8:30am, then went to the food court and got a muffin for him, and some grapes for me. I stayed in bed for as long as I could, cause that just what I do lol.

We decided to drive to Epcot today. Sometimes it just feels better to drive instead of waiting for a bus at the end of the day when you're wore out.

We got to Epcot at about 10:30.

222-d4.jpg

As soon as we got there, we got FastPasses for Test Track.

234-d4.jpg

This is one of my favorite rides! After getting the passes, we backtracked to Spaceship Earth. It wasn't nearly as long to wait as the first night, it was only about ten minutes, so we got right on basically.

After coming out of Spaceship Earth, Darren's uncle called and wanted to meet up with us, so we waited for them there.

By then, we were allowed to get another FastPass, so we got one for Soarin'.

Darren's little cousin wanted to do the Circle of Life while we were in there, and we'd never seen it, so we went in. It was a cute little movie, and very educational.

Then we headed downstairs and rode Living with the Land. Some people don't like this ride, but we do. I like to see all the Mickey head vegetables and stuff.

I like LWTL to see the veggies too! And it's just very serene to me.

By the way, that's a REALLY good time you got on your passes even though you got to Epcot at 10:00! (ps. that would NEVER be possible in the summer :rotfl: )

Now it was time for our Test Track passes, so we headed that way. Some pictures along the way:

235-d4.jpg

Oh yeah, we stopped in at Club Cool...Who did we get with the Beverly??

233-d4.jpg

Darren's mom!!

232-d4.jpg

Darren got his uncle to try it, but he actually said it wasn't that bad!! He's crazy!

that pic of your MIL is priceless!!!!!! I love that you tricked her!

So we got to Test Track and Darren's uncle and his family went to ride Mission: Space while we rode Test Track...I'm too claustrophobic, so I don't even want to think about blasting off to Space in a tight little spaceship. I wished them luck, and told them to try to green side first, and off they went.

We got on Test Track and it was a blast, as usual. I'm the only one that made a face on the picture, so I look like a doofus.

TESTTRACK2.jpg

:lmao:

that picture is really funny too!!!

After the ride, we met back up with Darren's uncle. They loved Mission: Space and wanted to try the orange version later. They can have that!! LOL.

We were getting pretty hungry by now, so we went to eat lunch at the Electric Umbrella. Darren got a burger, I got chicken nuggets.

After eating, we browsed around in MouseGears for awhile. We tried to go to Figment, but it was closed. We were going to see Honey I Shrunk The Audience, but it was too long of a wait. So what do we do? Ride Nemo again!

We when got out of Nemo, it was time for our Soarin' FastPasses, so we headed that way. We sat in the 3rd row again, which was okay by me! It was still a great ride.

Then it was time for our Test Track passes again. What can we say, we like being dummies!!

This time everybody made a face, but I don't know WHAT the heck Darren is doing

TESTTRACK.jpg

After that, we decided to leave. It was around 5:30pm.

One last look back:

237-d4.jpg

We got in the van and rode back to the hotel. When we got there, me and Darren decided to get ice cream in the food court.

I got cookie dough on a cone, and Darren got a ice cream cookie sandwich. He didn't really like it, he said the cookie was too hard. My cone was great!

238-d4.jpg

I know you see our mugs, and YES the Coke was nasty again! :sad2:

While we were sitting there, we watched the lady drawing caricatures of some people. I always wanted to see what I looked like as a cartoon, so we said why not? Let's do it!

239-d4.jpg

It was embarassing because a whole bunch of people would stop and watch!

The finished product:

240-d4.jpg

I think it looks more like Darren than me, but it turned out cute.

We got quesadillas for supper then headed back to the room. We played a game of Rummy, which I won, then took showers and went to bed.

Can you guess which park we went to the next day?? :rolleyes1

another funny picture on TT! That is great! I'm glad you at least enjoy one of the big ones ;)

Soarin' is awesome...especially if you get in the 1st row and don't see all the feet which kinda takes away from the real feeling of "flying" You should definitely try it in the first row just once!

that cookie does look kind of hard :confused3

The caricature is great! The same thing happened with me and DH (the one we got done in '06) where it looked like him but not so much like me. But it was still really cute. I might get another one done next time. It was fun! (but expensive! )
And yes, people stopped and watched us constantly, too.

I'm guessing...AK and MGM (and I promise I didn't peek---cuz I'm probably wrong!)

But I'd want to do the land/sea package because I know seeing all Disney stuff and characters, it would remind me of all my favorite attractions and I would miss them.

awwwwww  thanks for standing up for me!

good going on the king sized bed! That's the way to go!

thanks again!!

awwww  for you too! thanks!

:rotfl2:

no need to...I'm here now. :)

awwww mannnn!

I'm going to get that "lysol to go" for the room this year

yeah, that DOES stink.

No way jose! I know who you are. We live in the same city...I SHOULD know. I'm surprised I haven't ran into you in Walmart or anything. :rotfl:
(isn't that place ALWAYS crazy busy? I hate it!)

I thought I did say I remembered her. Carla...you okay? :rolleyes1

LOL!! I love that you're commenting as you read. I know, I HATE going to Wal-Mart when it's crazy. We usually go late at night. I don't like going by myself either! It is weird that we've never run into each other.

Enjoyed your trip report, even if you are wearing the LSU shirts!!

Heyyy!! :rotfl2: Don't hate :p

congrats! I want to stay there some day. The only mod I've stayed at is Coronado Springs...and those rooms are really far apart too!

yes, you WILL ride EE...you BETTER ride it!

I still plan on that if they let me ;)

I want to grab one and then watch Fantasmic while I enjoy it!

I found this on allears.
Marsha's Martian - chocolate and vanilla shakes mixed with Bailey's Irish Cream and Kahlua

oh well :confused3 I love it! (Carla introduced me to it)

So did you try a "glow-tini" yet? If not, you should try one in September.

Never tried the glowtini yet. What's it taste like?

so I just finished your TR and it was awesome....

Thank you!! You must be so excited. I hope you have a great time!! You should definitely do a Trip Report! :thumbsup2

I agree! :cutie:

Ooh, ooh, I am! I've read all about it

just incase no one saw this at screamscape's website:

What will you sing???

I haven't seen her in a while. I will have to try and catch her this time.

I'm just the opposite! I like fountain Coke way better! :lmao:

Oh yes, fountain coke is SO good! That sucks that y'all had yucky coke!

That was a gross bug. We always have spiders where we live. We usually feed them to our Oscars.

I like LWTL to see the veggies too! And it's just very serene to me.

By the way, that's a REALLY good time you got on your passes even though you got to Epcot at 10:00! (ps. that would NEVER be possible in the summer :rotfl: )

that pic of your MIL is priceless!!!!!! I love that you tricked her!

that picture is really funny too!!!

another funny picture on TT! That is great! I'm glad you at least enjoy one of the big ones ;)

Soarin' is awesome...especially if you get in the 1st row and don't see all the feet which kinda takes away from the real feeling of "flying" You should definitely try it in the first row just once!

We've done Soarin' from the first row before :thumbsup2 I tend to not notice the feet though unless it's somebody with really long legs! :lmao:

I know the caricature was expensive, especially doing the whole body!! They do awesome though, it's really quick.

LOL!! I love that you're commenting as you read. I know, I HATE going to Wal-Mart when it's crazy. We usually go late at night. I don't like going by myself either! It is weird that we've never run into each other.

I love commenting along...If I didn't have a broken computer at home, I would have been reading along as it was written and wouldn't have to do these mass comments. :rotfl:

Plus I've been at work ALL ALONE since 11:00 and was bored! hehehe

It's past time to go home but I've been enjoying reading your report (okay, I was doing other stuff too--just made some $ taking a Sunshine Rewards survey! :woohoo: I've been doing really good this month! go me! :yay: )

I need to go home...and finish reading there :goodvibes

Heyyy!! :rotfl2: Don't hate :p

yeah, what are ya...an OHIO fan?? hmmm??

:rotfl2:

Never tried the glowtini yet. What's it taste like?

here's the description: Blue "Glow-Tini" inspired by the Year of a Million Dreams - Skyy citrus vodka, peach schnapps, blue curacao, sweet-and-sour, and pineapple juice with a sugared rim $9.75

I was hoping you would not ask...I haven't tried it either. :lmao: It sounds like a good drink though. It sounds very sweet so I figured you would like it. (and your DH who likes girlie drinks :rotfl2: )

What will you sing???

It's a SECRET ;) If some certain people :rolleyes1 end up watching, I think I want them to be surprised. Plus...I'm not 100% certain anyway :confused3
If you can guess it, I'll tell ya!

We've done Soarin' from the first row before :thumbsup2 I tend to not notice the feet though unless it's somebody with really long legs! :lmao:

I know the caricature was expensive, especially doing the whole body!! They do awesome though, it's really quick.

well if I were sitting in front of you, you definitely wouldn't notice. hehe

yeah, and in COLOR makes it much more! The guy we had actually spent a lot of time with us. We enjoyed talking with him about how he got into caricatures, etc. It was a second job for him for a while, and then he ended up full-time. I wish I could draw. The closest I get is going into the Animator's Studio and drawing what they tell me to draw, step by step. :goodvibes

I was right about Animal Kingdom! :woohoo: I love those acrobats. Now I'm going to try and get a pic with them in Sept. Did they jump rope for you too? I love that!

The giraffe is so cute! Giraffes are my most favorite animal! They're beautiful!

I just read that Todd is your cousin! Cool! He's got a great voice. I met him once at a bar, and I've heard him sing plenty of times (you can probably guess where most of those times were...LOL) I have a friend who was practically in love with him...he was dating someone else though. She and he were just friends. You might even know her...

I was wondering if you'd know Todd. Who was the girl that liked him?? I'm curious lol.

You know he's a daddy now?

So sad your trip is almost over; of course we'll join you on your pre trip. It will help pass time until Sept. Sometimes I feel like I'm wishing my life away counting the days until I get to go back to WDW.
It looks like you guys had fun on the sea racers. Maybe we will try it one day but I have such a hard time sacrificing park time to do other things on property. I feel like if the parks are open and we are not there we are missing out on something. I'm crazy, I know. I can't help it.
How cool that Darrin won Bingo. We used to play all the time; but I never won anything:sad2: .
Looking forward hearing all about the rest of your day. Thanks for sharing.

I'm just like you about "sacrificing park time". LOL Glad I'm not the only looney!

Thank you! Our Easter was good, we had a crawfish boil! :lmao: (Probably sounds gross to you!)
I hope your day was good too :thumbsup2

YUM!!!!

I totally :lmao: at the woman who ate the icecream off the ground at the Contemporary :rotfl:
and the old man in the back of BTMR :goodvibes

I never did find the dole whips. I was looking and then I think it rained and screwed up my search.

Better late than never! Thanks so much for reading!! :dance3: I agree that you can never have too many pics

BTW, I love Jason Castro and David Cook :thumbsup2

I love them too!

Hey girl. If you like pineapple, you'll like a Dole Float...A float has pineapple juice in it, and a whip is just the pineapple soft serve. You should try it at least once!

Aww thanks for joining in!!! Your DD is so cute in your signature! And a Disney souvenir I see ;) :thumbsup2 How sweet!
Thanks for all of your nice comments.
We weren't directly affected by Katrina, we live about 45 minutes from New Orleans. We were without power for 2 weeks though, and it was so miserable and HOT. I was working at Winn-Dixie at the time and it was 12 hour days there, people trying to get groceries, everybody had food stamps, we had marines in the store because people were getting so violet over stuff. People got shot over gasoline, it was just so horrible. I hope that never happens again.

the dole whip sounds good...I still haven't had one. Need to find 'em this time around!

Wow..I was in Houston at my in-laws' house for about 2 weeks. When I came back we were still without power. My old neighborhood (behind Walmart) was one of the last to get power restored in Hammond b/c there was a huge tree all tangled up in the power lines.

I hope that never happens again too!

Im sure ive said hi before, my brains a little fuzzled these days! great update, cant believe its almost finished, will make a point to head over to your pre-trip report.

Thought the donald golf balls they gave you looked great, fab souvenir, hope they are still giving them away come November.

I wonder if that's a new thing? Wonder if they are giving them away at Winter Summerland now, too? (probably just wishful thinking on my part since I want to go there this yr)

I found that Fantasia Gardens had more obstacles, it wasn't just the same hole over and over. The theming is great too, although we went at night so we probably missed alot!

It looked fun. Although I liked seeing Carla's pics of Winter Summerland too--it looked like there were some challenges...are the pics deceiving? :confused3
The picture that Darren got looked great. Very cool. The dad twin was funny..I just love seeing stuff like that.

Would you believe I am finally all caught up?! That was great. Sounds like y'all had a very fun, fulfilling trip. I will have to make my way to your new PTR tomorrow...looking forward to it! This one has been a blast...you have great writing skills!
