Pictures at Boardwalk - non disney wedding

Hi we are getting married offsite but are staying at POFQ. We would like to get some pics at Boardwalk before we head off to our wedding. Can we do this?

Also I don't want to upset any SBP brides that might be having pics - how do I find out if anyones getting married on that day?

And finally..What do I do if another bride is there i.e. not a SBP bride but maybe another disney bride taking pics? Do we have to leave?

Hi, yes you can have pictures taken at the Boardwalk. However, as you mention, if there was a wedding going on at SBP you would have to take your leave of the area. You could maybe head over to the Yatch Club and have some photos on the beach.

I would imagine the only way to find out if there was going to be a wedding going on when you want to be there would be to send someone ahead to scope out the area. I know at the Yacht Club there is a sign up with the name of the couples getting married - as you see outside the WP, but I cant remember seeing a picture of a sign at SBP, although I am sure there will be one.

In the lobby of the Boardwalk (both the main lobby and the convention center lobby), there will be a digital sign with a flashing list of all of the day's events, weddings included. There is also a sign at SBP when there is a wedding: but it would just be easiest to check the sign.
