<p><b>Well, this is the last one, at least for a time. Number 21 in a set of
pictures from my trip in May. I have posted somewhere in the area of about
1,600 or so pictures. Hopefully you have enjoyed as much as I did in
taking and posting them.</b></p>
<p><b>Today's will be a morning visit to The Magic Kingdom, lunch with a DIS'er and
her friends, a few hours with a couple more DIS'ers, and then head to MCO and
home. After looking at these pictures, you might minimize the thread and
listen to about a 30 minute medley of nice Disney themes. After all, you
spent this much time loading this thread, LOL, might as well get some mileage
out of it. Let's go, join me for a bit of The Magic Kingdom......</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN3915.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>I took a bus from the Swan over to MK, but when I got there, stopped to take
a few pictures of Seven Seas Lagoon, a motor launch...</b></p>

<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN3920.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And the monorail, always a symbol of Disney, gliding quietly into the station
to drop off the morning guests.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN3921.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>I always like the soft sound the monorail makes as it travels past.</b></p>

just a simple look.</b></p>

<p><b>While making a slow loop around Town Square, I stopped in the 'barn' where

<p><b>Now there is only this one little side street off Main Street. The
other across the street was built over to make the Emporium shop even bigger, a

enough shops, don't they?</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN3961.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And now, at the end of Main Street we have Casey's good hot dogs to be had

<p><b>And now, over at The Diamond Horseshoe Saloon Revue, for a nice
lunch. This is another place I had never been to before. The lady in
the red dress with her hand up is an Assistive Listening CM, signing for the
deaf and hard of hearing. It was really enjoyable to see. I have
also seen her at the Candlelight Processional, a real experience to share.</b></p>

<p><b>Toward the end of lunch, DIS'er, DumboOrBust (Dayna), in lime green (what

<p><b>And finally the skies opened for a real downpour of about two hours.</b></p>

<p><b>Finally, about 10:30 PM, over three hours delayed, we got up in the air

we took off, Orlando below us, multiple lightning bolts were visible in the
distance. It was a bit rocky at the lower altitude, but glass smooth at
35K.</b></p>
<p><b>Well, folks, that it, a wrap. No more pictures from this trip. I do
hope you enjoyed them. </b></p>
<p><b>Again, maybe minimize this thread and listen to about 30 minutes of nice

<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN4034.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Old Glory still flying proudly in the breeze.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN4036.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>The show rounds the bend in Town Square as I near the end of my time at
WDW.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN4037.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>The monorail continues to quietly shush by, moving guests in Disney
style. My time was over. I took the bus back to the Swan, changed
clothes and headed to MCO. </b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN4038.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And at MCO, as always, I say to goodbye to Mickey.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN4039.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>The MCO monorail delivers it charges to the appropriate gates. So
long for now.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN4040.jpg" width="337" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>As I walk to my gate, I see a sign that reminds me of my friend,
Buckalew. She does like her smoothies.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN4042.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>At the gate, a late afternoon/early evening Florida storm was brewing in
the distance. I had a 7 PM flight scheduled, but we would be delayed over
3 hours for the big storm to pass. Here a wisp of sunlight is visible
but the sky is darkening quickly.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN4043.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And it is not nighttime, only about 6 PM.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN4044.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>But you would sure think it was nighttime.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN4046.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Wouldn't you??? Yikes!!!!</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN4049.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And finally the skies opened for a real downpour of about two hours.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/30/DSCN4058.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Finally, about 10:30 PM, over three hours delayed, we got up in the air
for my flight back to Milwaukee and a short drive from there back home. As
we took off, Orlando below us, multiple lightning bolts were visible in the
Disney themes. You spent the time to load this, get all you can out of it,
LOL.
