Picture Project...

So I startedthis project.... I wanted to put more pics on MJ's Site, but wanted to compact them down, etc...

Step One: Download Picasa2 and find out that I have 10, 800 pictures from the last two years in my My Pictures file...holy moley!

Step two: Go through all photos and make sure thay they are in the correct place in the file stucture I have designed throw out the ones that are just plain bad. Learn that I have two programs that do different things that I like in each, so I bounce back and forth through this entire step...

Step three: Back everything up so I have copies of all my pictures at at suitable resolution for printing incase anything ever happens to them...Picasa2 has a great function for this thank goodness....

Step four: Resize all pictures to a suitable size for web viewing, crop anything that needs to be, edit any that need editing....

Wow, who would have though that this would be so much work!

I checked out MJ's website. Glad to see that you're taking tons of photos of MJ. She's getting so big and GORGEOUS! I love the MJspot (hadn't checked your blog in quite sometime).

That's a lot of work to do in one sitting!!! I like to go over the shots after a shoot or vacation and cull the ones that are obviously bad and then organize them in separate folders named for the year/month. Then I go through and get the ones I "really" like and put them in a folder named keepers under the parent directory. Works for me.

The thing is...we go to WDW twice a week (at least) so I have thousands of shot....I suppose I should leave my camera at home...but, then I might miss a shot

We're hoping to make it to the pin event again, but this Med trip is a big trip for us. I hoping to take a lot of pics on the Med. trip, maybe, I'll have as many as you to go through. How do you decide on which pics of MJ to delete? She's just toooooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!! I love seeing your photos of MJ and all her WDW friends.
