Picture Package Meals

I noticed a few people giving reviews of Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Faire recently saying that they had to line up for a photo when they walked in, similar to Akershus or CRT, and that they had to endure a photo sales pitch. Is a picture package is now included in those meals with the dining plan?

Only Akershus and CRT include the photo package. Anywhere else, you'd need to pay extra for it, DDP or no DDP.

They do the picture thing at Planet Hollywood too. I hate being forced to take pictures and than someone handing to me and expecting me to buy it.

When my DH and I went to Chef Mickey's I refused the picture at the beginning. The CM said, please step over for a photo. I said no thank you. She said, something like oh, it will just take a minute and I said can we have dinner here without taking the picture? She said yes of course and led us to our table.

We've done the same at 1900 Park Fare and others.

the pictures mentioned at these restaurants (specifically Chef Mickeys), can they be added to photopass or completely unrelated and they just want you to buy while you dine?

I'm staying at CR and going to have chef mickey's breakfast 6 of 7 days we are there (for convenience and my 2 yo to see Mickey everyday). They better not make me take a photo everyday! LOL

I wouldn't mind taking the photo if it goes on my photopass. Otherwise, then no way, skipping it. LOL.

It's your money - if it's an added expense and you don't want to buy the picture, that's up to you. I never have a problem saying, "No, thank you" when offered a picture - however we did like the one taken at Chef Mickey's, so we bought it. Passed on the one at 1900 though.

The pictures taken at 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickey's can only be added to your photopass if you purchase the picture package. The photos have a number stamped on the back or the white edge on the side. You enter the number on your photopass account and then the pictures are added to your photopass.

THe CRT and Akershus photo packages, have the numbers stamped on them too, so you can add them to your photopass. But, as others have said, these photo packages are included with your meal.

Well, you could get your photo taken everyday, until you get that 'perfect' photo!

Enjoy! Karen

if you don't feel like purchasing the photo, skip it as it becomes hard whe nto come over to your table with a nice photo and tells you it cost over $20 for it (can't remember the price to be honnest).

You don't have to buy the package AND, you can ask the photographer to take a picture with your personal camera - that's what I always do :-)

We always skip the photo. We just politely decline when the photographer's assitant tries to ferry us over to the photo spot. It's never a problem.

I always buy the CM one. I am a sucker ;) Correct me if I am wrong, but isnt it $30 for the pic? What a rip off lol!! But now I get them everytime just to compare years past.
Does Tusker House still have pics?
