Thanks Joe- They were in the Doom Buggy ahead of us. The 'self portrait' of me with my little one I took after it did not come out (as usual). ;) HM is tuff shooting- even at f1.8 and ISO 6400- still have to get lucky too.

I never thought of trying that, I wouldn't have thought'd work... I agree, very tough. This last trip I didn't go higher than ISO1600 because there's just too much noise at ISO3200 to make a decent pic on the D40. But I got some decent ones... most of the time the problem for me was getting a focus. It's so dark that the camera just can't pick anything up in there... Thanks for the explanation, I'll have to give it a try!

Wanted to give you all an update on my Nikon D40 . . . I had told you we got it back in May, it's been taking excellent action shots, though unfortunately no Disney ones. I took it up to the Disney Store so I'd at least have SOMETHING to share on this thread besides recycled pics, but when I got there a CM told me that picture-taking wasn't allowed (even though I'd done it once before and no one had said anything about it). Oh, well. So you'll just have to bear with me until my next trip next summer for more pics! ;)

Groucho - Very cool Lego pic. :)

Jenvenza - :welcome: to the thread and nice first pic! :thumbsup2

°O°Joe - Where in the world are those spooky eyes?!

Gdad - Beautiful Fantasyland pic. :wizard:

2angelsinheaven - Awesome fireworks pic! :)

Pardon me, but that is the "stupid-est" thing I've ever heard! :lmao:

My goodness; are they afraid someone will steal a corporate secret or try to copy a product?

...or on a serious note, do you think they are worried about child predators? :confused3 In this day and age, you never know....

I don't know the reasoning but I have heard of that at other retail stores and malls as well.

They said it was something to do with the characters being trademarked, so I couldn't take pictures of them on the displays and such. It wasn't a total loss, though . . . I got a snazzy new 'Cars' towel. :teeth:
