tci1212 - is that the lightpost that "rains" in the Studios? We have never seen it before when we've been there...where is it? Would love to see it on our next trip! TIA :goodvibes

Yes, it is in the back of the Studios. I think it is on the last street. :)

As tci1212 said above it's in the back right near the LMA entrance.

WOW! Thanks for the answer and the map! We were SO close this last trip. Went to visit Mike and Sully and must have walked right by it - bummer! Maybe on our next trip ;) Thanks again!

I guess this brings up the question (right after the one, "How many pictures do you all take?)....what does everyone DO with their pictures?

Why, they post them on the DIS, of course! ;)
In all seriousness, though, my last trip was my first visit with a digital camera and I believe I took around 550 pictures . . . but that was before I had joined the DIS and had a knack for taking extra pics to post here. In trips before that, I had just used a disposable camera and put the pics in a hardcopy photo album. I guess nowadays there's always Photopass packages to consider.

Code - Very cool Soarin' pic! :thumbsup2 I agree, it's a pretty neat ride system - I had read that it was based off of a model built by an Imagineer's old erector set. :)

nittanyliongirl02 - Congratulations and good luck on your upcoming wedding and have a magical trip!!! :wizard:

My DF was kind enough to purchase the History Channel special on the making of Disney World, and the Imagineer who designed the Soarin ride system is on the dvd with the actual Erector set model! I bet he couldn't have imagined how popular his design would become. :goodvibes

WooHoo!!!!:yay: Sending you lots of blessings (& some pixie dustpixiedust:)

Thank you both for your well wishing....we can't wait!:rotfl:

Wow Ed- Very nice. I miss that gold trim on the castle.

I liked the gold trim on the castle too. I think it looks almost bland without it. Maybe I'm just spoiled because thats how I remember the castle the first time I seen it.
