Picture of the Day October 17th, 2012

CONGRATS CYNDI!!!!!! :yay:

You must be proud. This seems to be a good week. On Monday I made the plans to head back down south four our 4th annual trip to the Mouse. Was just going to be my younger daughter and son as my eldest graduates in June. Was doing Music, as you can see in the Ticker, but after a couple days planning. My oldest is going to go light on classes and take them on Tues, Wed, Thurs and Fridays to miss at a minimum. We just need to work out the exact days and place but instead of a quick 3 day with another person paying in we are looking at 4 day Riverside. I am so floating in heaven. So I present this pic that I will be seeing on Nov 2nd about 7 am or so. (we drive)

BUT that is not all. Many of you know by now that I am a HUGE comic fan with Avengers being my real favorite. SO I walk into my comic store yesterday to talk to my friend the owner and tell him about my trip. He smiles at me along with his daughter and worker named Brett (Very nice well mannered young man) and tells me to sit down. i tell him my plans and he asks e if I am cutting back like the last couple times and this time I am not but planning around it and he shows me the back of two bag and boarded comics. I look that them and my chest grew very very heavy and I felt faint. I had to look a couple times but trembling I told him I would take both books. Yes the pair will cost more than a Disney trip but for me it is more than worth it. I have been looking for one of these books since about 1984. If it was in the best condition it would cost more than my car but it is worth it. I haven't told my wife yet. So if it all works well I am doing Disney this November and next Oct I will be owning the following. One of the two books I want more than any other.

Being a Minnesotan, I've always thought that banner in the background should be purple. :woohoo:

Thank you everyone for all the congratulations on my new grand daughter!.. feelin' the love here! :grouphug:

I'm late but want to add my congrats also. Aren't grandbabies amazing? I think all my kids are done now -- we've got ten.

Your trip sounds wonderful!

As to the comic book purchase, I know nothing but it sounds like they mean a tremendous amount to you! Hopefully DW agrees!

I used to collect Disney pins and have $$$$ invested so I do understand a little about your "collecting" needs!

Because I liked the pic in the other thread I thought I might show another of the dancer and band.
