Site 617. Yes it is indeed quite close to the side walk and the road. Great site to sit and people watch.

Thanks so much for all the kind responses, it was actually pretty dark when this photo was taken and is the result of playing around with a long exposure.

I hope you do. We are considering a trip in October too. Haven't nailed down the dates yet. Maybe we will cross paths, again, kinda?!

Great photos!!!!! What camera do you use? I am dreaming of upgrading my Powershot S2. I think I have outgrown it, (ok, no fat jokes). Any way, thanks for sharing your awesome pictures!!

I think he said he was using a Canon Powershot S2 camera earlier in the thread.

It is the Canon Powershot S2. It is a great camera in it's class.

I have heard that many professionals will shoot all day long, and when it is all over may have only a hand full that they save. I take lots, I mean lots of pictures when I am out. Many of the photos do not turn out all that well. I may frame up the same shot 2 or 3 times, trying different settings, hoping to get it right. Usually I end up with enough 'keepers' to make it worth while.

I now have a Canon Power Shot SX20is I'm hopping for better results than my old S30.
