Gaffi stick, or more appropriately Gadafheri stick. Traditional weapons of the Tusken Raiders. They make them from scrap they find in the wastes.

Excellent pic. I would love to do a SW weekend but my kids want to go too and waiting in those lines with an autistic teenage boy to get autographs would stretch my patience to the limit.

Why I love this picture: My nieces were surprised with a trip to WDW in 2008 - they were told the day we left that we were going. Their second surprise was waiting for them at the parks the next day; my dad and stepmom were there! We planned it that way and never told them that they would be there. We walked into the MK, hurried them down Mainstreet USA, then as we approached the castle, said, "Look, who is that sitting on that bench?"

They were delighted. Squeeling and hugging ensued.

We've done this the past 2 trips with DGD's! The latest one was on Spring Break. DD told them they were going to Georgia and they didn't figure it out until they were driving into Orlando that they were really going to DW! My younger DD and I were waiting for them at AKV! Their surprised looks were PRICELESS!

Okk.. sooo.. i"m starting a leetle early on the cool drinks thing.. All the kids and g'kids coming this weekend and I'm not sure if I'll make to the 'puter -- between dishes and diapers.. hehe. Rest assured there will be lots of squeeling and hugging (by me! ) (loved your story, Songkat! did something similar a couple years ago - looks on faces were priceless!!) Anyway, I'm going to need a Disney break by Tues am! So bring on the cool drinks everyone!!
