Thought I would give this a run through with GIMP Auto Color Level. Also tried some other things, but that was the only thing that did anything (good). Just FYI, here is the result.

Thanks for playing with that picture, Jud. It looks much better your way. The original looks horrible because it spent the better part of 30ish years in one of those magnetic albums with the sticky pages- the most damaging place for photos to be!

Ahhhh! I was wondering, cause some of the colors simply are not there! The green came out nicely, but the red, couldn't get anymore! At one point I was thinking it was even black and white (doh!).

Once I get my puter back up and running on XP, ie properly functioning, I can reload my Corel and am going to add Focus Magic, and then I have my own early 110 shots to rescan and try to bring into presentable form. Fortunately, I have the (1/2 inch!!!) negatives and they have been stored fairly well.

Still, in any condition, it is nice to see real pictures from the early days and what it was! Another thing I noticed in this shot is look at "how many" people are waiting outside of Dumbo... hehehehehee...

That's funny! I never noticed how few people there are out there! I wonder what the crowd calendar would have thought of that day. LOL!
