Picture of the Day April 15, 2011

If I was looking for a Nikon DSLR with video, I'd consider the Nikon D3100

http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/prod...spx?path=4bcc7472263e75dbe1d87b4ecaf8c69een02

Unfortunately, all DSLR's are bigger, but the Nikon seemed smaller to me than the other brands

I still love my Nikon D40 (even if it doesn't have all the bells and whistles or video)

I take a canon p&s for days when I want to carry a small camera (with video capability) but it doesn't have a huge zoom.

Hope this helps? :goodvibes

Thanks! But I have to really really have to stretch my reality (and resources) to even consider 500... 650 isn't even in my universe!

But ya, nice!

:)

WOW... what a great shot:thumbsup2

Another shot of the out-of-place facade in DHS ;)

I really do not know where that is at DHS:confused3 What is it near?

Haven't posted on the POTD threads in a while, but have been lurking lately as we prep for our next trip in July.

Here one that's not spectacular in the sense that many on this thread are, but it's cool to me. It's a picture of our daughter (who graduates high school today), my lovely wife and our son (who is now in the Air Force, at Tech School). He'll be headed to Korea later this year, so pictures with the kids together are more special these days.

Sign on Lampost says "Sunset Plaza" I think it was where Sunset Boulevard and Hollywood Boulevard meet, close to Echo lake.

Honestly, I can't remember exactly where it was, but thought it was an interesting facade for a store front:goodvibes

Thanks, I will definitely have to pay closer attention on our trip. I will be on a mission to find this building because as I can honestly say I don't ever remember seeing it on all our trips to DHS:lmao:

I am a huge lurker on this board, my photos are not nearly as good as others but I finally uploaded my past trip onto photobucket so i thought i would share!

If you are at the 'boat' buying a snack and look left, it's on the corner.
