Yes Ma'am...that's where our award came from....only it was city wide, not just our neighborhood. Nice surprise.

We have a really fun tradition in Bellville when our kids make the playoffs. As they depart for the game they "circle the square"...this time 6 times....one for every round they make it through. Football team on the way to Arlington today; video was from our Bellville Police Department's drone. 14 hours before kickoff and time for me to get some rest before the 4 hour drive tomorrow morning!

What a wild week it's been for the high school kids in our community! Another 2 point game....only this time they were on the other side. Fantastic State Final and has been the best game, so far, played since Wednesday. Over 28,000 people had attended today's games with one more to go after ours. Nothing for them to be ashamed of; played some great football just didn't have a couple of breaks they needed to pull out a win. DGD was torn between laughter and tears during the halftime performance when she realized her dream was coming true...she was dancing on the field the
Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders danced on! What a memory for her last performance in a high school football game! Now I have 3 days to finish Christmas prep and get ready for 4 days in New York City with her and her fellow seniors!

So special sharing yesterday with family and friends. Oldest DGD's high school best friend and her family sat with us at the game; we made plans to meet next week in NYC for dinner when they're visiting the twin sister.

Will be on the way to the airport tomorrow night at this time to spend a few days in NYC with these young ladies and their families! Sure looking forward to the Rockettes performance!

Meant to text you today to see how it went but lost track of time! It was a real chore but FINISHED wrapping the gifts...at 3 AM! Take it easy and let your boys pamper you!
