We loved Gatlinburg and the general area; hated to see the fires destroy so much of town.

We also spent a week in Asheville in 2015 and visited Biltmore; definitely worth some time.

I know what you mean! The house we rented for a week there before the fires was totally burned down.. so sad for everyone who lives there too.
