Second set of 224 steps we climbed last Friday at Seven Falls in Colorado Springs; these were very steep but the views at the top were worth it!

We visited here a number of years ago. That hike is awful! I made it half way but our son did the whole thing. My knees would never tolerate it now.

I never get vertigo but these steps made me very nervous. My knees did okay but I had to keep convincing myself that I could make it especially on the way down! One woman would walk up 5 steps and then sit down until she got to the top but she did it!

It's all been redone there and was a beautiful place, especially early in the day. I'd like to go back and hike the other trail but those steps!!!

In New York, sunflower fields are not as common as they are out west where they are a major crop. A restaurant near me plants a huge field of them for their bees, the crop and to create a maze each year. I visited it last weekend.

DD and family climbed those steps during Spring Break this year...all she had to say was !

"Alice" and "Power Ranger" started the 5th grade & high school FRESHMAN today...well, technically the Power Ranger hasn't started officially yet...she was SICK today! The "bug" is going through the volleyball teams and it was her "turn"....:

Love how the horizon "breaks" the rule of thirds and totally works here. Also, polarized?

Not polarized...I deepened the sky in post using Lightroom. The horizon does break the rule but the flower does not so the image works!
