I spent the weekend up in Ottawa, Canada's capitol city, and the last weekend of Winterlude. I even got to walk (too much snow to really skate) on the famous Rideau Canal Skateway.

Promise of the Future

With the temperature forecasted to be in the 90’s today for Disneyland it reminded me of Dapper Day weekend this past September. I remember making this photograph, we were heading to the Monorail station in Tomorrowland. Our plan was to ride to Downtown Disney and duck into Trader Sam’s for a cool drink. Well, it was so hot the Monorails weren’t running! So the long walk out of the park and over towards the Disneyland Hotel and Trader Sam’s. We had FastPasses for Space Mountain but never made it back to use them, it was just too hot

Look what I found on the Rideau Canal Skateway in Ottawa...Beavertails! Oh, and they were so good, too. Especially in -11C weather.
