Thank you so much! I think we must have been at Disney close to the same time in December? We went the 11-18th?

We were there 12/7 to 12/16. We did the party 12/9 and 12/13. I wanted to shoot from a different vantage point this year so tried from the train station and hated it. Next time I'll be right where you were.

Thanks Janet so much. To be honest I wasn't getting the shots very well handheld so I switched to b/w to see what I could get that way. Luck was involved as much as anything. I want to be so much better at fireworks at the Disney parks but I refuse to carry a tripod around on vacation. I plan on renting a faster lens, like yours, if I get to go again.

Shhh..... you're just supposed to say you planned it that way all along. Still very nice, and a reminder to try more b/w myself.

Thank you! In a nutshell... I shoot 5 shot brackets, edit each shot in lightroom, combine to photomatix, edit in photoshop, layer masking as needed, multiple layer adjustments, sometimes some nik color efex and there you have it.

"...and there you have it..." like it is no big deal! A photograph like this takes a *lot* of work and time in processing and you are very good at it!

We did the party on 12/16, I really had to get there early on the second parade. One of these years we are going to have to get together when we are there
