Okay, so the party was in February, but I didn't know how to post photos then. I've seen a lot of posts in the past about cakes, and had gotten a lot of questions about ours and requests to see photos.

We celebrated DS's 1st birthday at the Whispering Canyon and I really made a pre-trip STINK about getting a special cake, and not a plain, round one. Well... they really came through and the staff at the restaurant couldn't believe it... said they'd never seen one this fancy. So I'm finally posting it for all to see (was much more beautiful in person, but whatever). Good luck with all your birthday cake needs! :thumbsup2

OMG thats the cutest one yet!!!! Love it!!!!! We are celebrating my son's 15th birthday at Kona and I have to call for a cake tomorrow.

So did your son dig in????

Oh my gosh! That is the cutest cake I have ever seen.

May I ask -- how much did it cost?

Thanks! princess:

How bad would I be if I guessed? Please note, I'm just commenting for fun, and am not the OP. ;) I'm gonna guess $125. :thumbsup2 Any other guesses? lol :goodvibes

PS - Looooove that cake! So cute!

Wow! That's adorable and so is your son!

Could you please add this photo and info about it (how you ordered it and cost) to the 'official' cake thread which is right HERE

I'm sure many with little boys are going to be very interested in ordering something like that.

That is by far the cutest cake I have ever seen! Please give us details on official :cake: thread - what flavor, how many servings, where you ordered from, cost, was it as yummy as it looks, etc.

Cute little cowboy!

:tink:

That is a rootin' tootin' pretty darn kick- butt cake!! I, too, would like to know the cost.

Okay... believe it or not... drum roll please... the cake was only $60!!! I believe it was a quarter sheet cake. 13 of us all had pieces and half the cake was left! It was VERY yummy with butter cream, marble cake and chocolate mousse filling. Everyone fought about who got to take some home! I had contacted the Food and Beverage Manager for the Wilderness Lodge to order it and she was a big help. I'll post this once again on the official cake board when I have time. :sunny:

WOW! For what you got, that was an AWESOME price! Way to go! :thumbsup2 Were the hat and boots made out of chocolate? I'm so jealous ;). I can't even convince DH to get the $40 mickey head cake b/c he thinks it will be a big waste (of cake and money, not occassion). :( I think maybe instead we'll get the cinderella slipper and a cupcake for dd's birthday.

Your son is so adorable and that cake is absolutely amazing. I can't believe it was only $60. I would have guessed a lot more with all that detail. Thanks so much for sharing.

Your son is a cutie pie! :goodvibes

I must have been off that night because I don't remember seeing your cake but I agree...its amazing!! Lately, we've seen alot more cakes that are not the standard. A few Mickey heads and one with berries on top that looked amazing!

WOW!!! That is one fabulous cake! My 3rd son turns 3 during our next trip and I'm starting to collect ideas of where to eat for his birthday meal. $60 is a great price too! wow

What a great cake! Your son is too cute and looks so happy about his birthday cake. $60 is a great deal for such an awesome memory and photo. :cake:

I'm so ashamed. We were just at WCC for my son Jacob's b-day too and all I got was the standard issue cake. It was delicious and he was happy, but OMG that cake is a showstopper!
