Hi all!
Does anyone know if any of the restaurants on WDW property have picture menus? My DS (17-ASD) has extremely limited expressive language, and before each trip I spend alot of time looking at the menus for the places we have ADR's, and then trying to find pictures of the dishes I think he'd like so that he may have some choice instead of me just picking it out for him. I print out a pic and laminate it for his PECS board that we usually take with us. I'm thinking for the next trip, I should be able to load and categorize the pics on his ipad, but man - it would be SO much easier if even one of the restaurants had a picture menu available!
Of course, he's not a picky eater like so many other ASD kids (my DD, for instance!). He's a pretty adventurous gourmet! However, some of the restaurants have a presentation that is a little different from the norm. For example, I thought we might have trouble when his chicken pot pie came out at 50's Primetime Cafe with puff pastry instead of a traditional crust, but thankfully he dug right in
. For that reason though, I try to find pics of the actual dishes from the restaurant, which isn't always easy.
Any insight/ input/ suggestions would be most welcome!
