We bought a bunch of photos on board the ship that are 6" x 8", which turns out to be a size not readily available in the US.

Has anyone found a good source of photo frames that fit these pictures?

Thanks!!

Yes, a hard size to find, but Michael's Crafts had a few. I don't know if that is a national store or not. We bought a few frames onboard to use with our professional pictures. The only one we are unhappy about is the frame we got for our picture taken in front of the ship portrait in the lobby outside Triton's. Guess we just weren't thinking straight because we bought the frame with the ship cutout on it, but it fits pictures vertically, and our picture in front of the ship portrait is horizontal.

I can usually find that size frame at Wolf Camera. Wolf Camera also goes by the name of Ritz Camera. Hopefully you will have one of the two nearby.

You'll just have to go on another cruise so you can have a vertical picture made !

For my 4x6 pictures, I sometimes buy the 5x7 frames and mount my picture on a 5x7 piece of paper. You can use white or get creative and use other colors or disney gift wrapping paper for a fun border !:thewave:

Another thing you can do is find a nice 8x10 frame and buy a 8x10 matte with a 6x8 opening or have one cut for you. I have done this a few times and it looks good.

We picked ours up at Kohl's. Burnes of Boston is the brand name. They are listed as 5x7 w/ matte. Take the matte out and, viola a 6x8 Disney pic fits right in.
Hope this helps

For our last cruise my DW got some Disney wrapping paper and mounted our pics on pieces of that cut into 8 X 10 squares. She ran the pics thru a paper cutter and removed all of the white edges prior to mounting them on the wrapping paper and they turned out great. After our cruise in Nov. (we're getting the 20 pic pkg) we won't have any wall space left. LOL

Aaron Brothers is also starting to carry 6x8's; they only have a few now, but apparently will be increasing their selection slowly. The ones they do have are very simple and are included in the 1 Cent frame sales that they have regularly :-)

Buy a normal size frame. Then have a mat cut for frame and photo. Hobby Lobby will always do this and for a couple of bucks. Never expensive :)
