Pics Of Sunken Chaise Lounges

I might be nuts, but I thouht I saw some pics of sunken pool chaise lounges from a Hotel in Cancun mixed in with someone's DCL pics. Does anybody know what I'm talking about, or what Hotel it might have been??Trying to plan next non- disney vacation.

Not sure what you mean, but after a hurricane in '99 (our cruise 10/99) was first back to CC after it), there were several DCL chaise lounges sunk out in the water. The crew said the storm came up so fast they did not have enough time to clear away all the chairs and most wound up in the water and buried under sand.

A lot of the hotels throw their chairs and such into the pools to keep them from blowing away during storms. That is what you might have seen.

If you are taking about lounge chairs in the pool that would be the Moon Palace. It is one of the Palace resorts in Cancun.
It is a very beautiful property. It is also all-inclusive. The Moon Palace is kind-of off the beaten path.....but if you like staying at one hotel for the week is great. You can also use the other properties which are closer to down town, so you could hang out there for the day. All in all.....a very good choice!!!
PS if you haven't been to Cancun, go it is one of our favorite places to go!

We stayed for a week at the Sun Palace in Cancun and went to vistit the Moon Palace for the day and then for dinner.

It was a gorgeous hotel and property. Loved those chaises in the water!!!!
