Anyone know of any pictures out there of what the refurbs are going to look like?

waiting to see something too we are booked in a studio for April 17-25th, and wondering if we can leave the air mattress at home ! our boys do not sleep well together.

Disboards just did 7 resort series including BCV and BWV. I believe their video and photos show the refurbished rooms. You should be able to find them on the site. I follow them on Twitter and watched the videos and viewed the photos just this week. The series was great.

Could you give us link to the Twitter videos? There are new videos of the hotel portions of BWI and BC on the DisBoards, but I don't see anything for the DVC resorts.

I won't be there until Mar. 17 (if hubby stays healthy) but I will do my best to try to get some photos if none have been posted by then. I am also very curious. DSis is doing a split stay, partly in a pool/garden 1 bedroom because I couldn't get her BW view for the whole time. I will see if there are any refurbished ones available for her. Sounds like none of the BW view rooms is being rehabbed yet.

I saw a post on disboards facebook where someone with a boardwalk view room for next week were notified that they were being bumped for "unexpected renovations".

Uh, oh. Wonder where they will be bumped to? There is only 1 HA BW view lock-off, so if it is being refurbed then we will be out of luck.

I found the post, they weren't too clear. It sounded like they got another view and then back to boardwalk view.

Sounds like the poster had booked BW view at 11 months out. I would be very unhappy about this. I am hoping that this doesn't happen to DSis or to DH and me. We only ever book BW view. But it may be that it is only the studios being refurbed now and we have 1 bedrooms booked so we would be safe.

Series is great! The rooms however are not post refurb. It is my understanding Refurb has just started in the past few weeks.

Are the BW rooms being refurbed studios or 1 br?

Have 1 br in April and wasn't sure. Would love a new room!!

The BWV and BCV refurbishment is for all of the villas. DVC only released a photo of the BWV studio for some reason.

Does anyone know the timeline for the BCV renovations? Will be there in July and hoping for an updated room.
